High-Carbon Rings & Curved-Vane Cooling

The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting for durability and heat capacity. Curved internal vanes (72-vane) act as a centrifugal pump to pull cooling air through the disc under hard use. The 2-piece construction allows reuse of the aluminum hat with D1-291 replacement rings.
