Girodisc A1-205 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors | Huracán w/ Centerlocks $2,704.00
A1-205 Girodisc Two-Piece 394mm Front Brake Rotors Fits Lamborghini Huracán w/ Centerlock Wheels Iron Rotor Conversion Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country. We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. This Girodisc iron rotor conversion is a direct replacement for the OEM Lamborghini carbon ceramic discs with the addition of the provided caliper spacers. At 394mm, the diameter of these Girodisc rotors is larger than the 380mm OEM CCM rotors. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight, high-performance replacements (as opposed to a big brake kit), your factory brake bias is maintained, along with your ABS efficiency. Girodisc two-piece floating rotors are lighter than OEM cast iron brake rotors. This reduction in rotational mass and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration, sharper steering, and faster suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and CMS RF-1 brake fluid (available from Competition Motorsport), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of each Girodisc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance. Sold/priced per pair.

CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
CMS Performance CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $36.00
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance. No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding. So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Manufacturer: CMS Performance Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1 Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
