Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products. As one of the largest stocking dealers in the country, we ship most products the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline.
This Girodisc system upgrades the OEM brakes to a two-piece steel disc and aluminum hat. This two-piece floating rotor design will bolt directly to the Subaru STI front and work flawlessly with OEM calipers.
Upgrading your brakes to lightweight, high-performance Girodisc rotors, you maintain the factory brake bias and ABS effectiveness. Much lighter than the OEM rotors, Girodisc rotors reduce rotational and unsprung mass giving you stronger braking and faster suspension response.
Combined with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid, Girodisc rotors are the ultimate solution to overheated, cracked, warped rotors that result from high-performance driving.
The central hat of the rotor is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured in the USA from the same cast iron used by professional racing organizations. Its curved-vane design, developed in racing, acts like a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc.
The disc and hat mount together through a floating mount system using ten cadmium plated, high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc. These drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to allow for heat expansion. Anti-noise spring washers eliminate the noise typically associated with floating rotors.
This two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement, reusing the hat to minimize maintenance costs.
Sold/priced per pair.

This two-piece "floating rotor" design will bolt directly to your GT2 or GT3 front and work flawlessly with the OEM calipers. Upgrading your brakes to lightweight, high-performance Girodisc rotors, you maintain the factory brake bias and ABS effectiveness.
Each rotor is 5.6 pounds lighter than an OEM rotor, reducing rotational and unsprung mass giving you stronger braking and faster suspension response.

$1,920.00
Girodisc Porsche GT3 Front Rotors
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE front rotors on all Porsche 996 and 997.1 GT3 and GT2 models. No modifications are required—the discs bolt directly to the car and work perfectly with OE calipers. This upgrade offers a lighter, high-performance braking solution that maintains factory brake bias and ABS calibration while improving cooling and response. The Girodisc front rotors weigh approximately 21.0 lbs each, compared to 25.6 lbs for the stock units—a significant reduction in unsprung and rotational mass that enhances acceleration and suspension dynamics.
High-Performance Construction
The central hat section is crafted from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and lightness. The rotor rings are Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron, poured and machined entirely in-house in the USA. The curved vane design, developed through years of motorsport experience, acts as a centrifugal pump that forces air through the disc, reducing heat build-up and maintaining consistent braking performance under extreme conditions.

High Performance Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors for Mercedes AMG
This Girodisc floating iron rotor system is a direct replacement for your AMG front OEM rotors. No modifications to your car are necessary. The 360mm diameter rotors will bolt directly to your Mercedes AMG and work with the original calipers perfectly.
The Girodisc front rotors are approximately 23.6 lbs vs. 34.5 lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When upgrading your original brakes with lightweight high performance iron replacements, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.
The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is drilled and slotted for incredible cooling, made from Girodisc's proprietary American-made cast iron and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The disc utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cooling air through the disc.
The disc and hat are joined by a floating mount system using 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The drive pins bear the braking load while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side, allowing the rotor to grow with heat expansion while eliminating the rattle typically associated with floating rotors. A floating rotor will also self-center between the pads.
Once your Girodisc system is in place, you can simply replace the cast iron discs as needed.
