Measuring Your Head
The most effective helmet is one that fits properly. To measure your head, have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head. Start at a point about an inch above your eyebrows, looping around the back of your head at the point that results in the largest measurement, and finally then around to the front again. It's a good idea to take two or three measurements to make sure you have the largest one.

The Bell M.8 Carbon Fiber SA2020 is designed with comfort in mind while keeping with traditional Bell M style. Its large eye port opening and adjustable forehead vents to reduce potential fogging are designed for the driver who wears sunglasses or eyeglasses.
The Bell M.8 Carbon Fiber SA2020 helmet is available in seven sizes, from XS to XL+, providing a near-custom fit with a wide spectrum of sizes. The helmet is certified for use with HANS devices with integrated M6 female threaded inserts for HANS post anchors, which are sold separately.
The Bell M.8 Carbon Fiber SA2020 helmet includes a clear face shield and black visor strip, shield hardware with a hex wrench, and a drawstring helmet bag to keep it all together.

4C: Carbon Composite 4 Layer Construction
On Bell helmets, “4C” stands for “Carbon Composite 4 Layer Construction.” It refers to the shell technology Bell uses: a 4-layer carbon composite laminate. This blend typically combines carbon fiber with other advanced fibers (like Kevlar® or fiberglass) in multiple layers.
The purpose is to deliver a shell that is lighter than fiberglass alone, but more affordable and versatile than Bell’s top-end full carbon HP series shells (like HP7 or HP77 which use pure carbon/advanced aerospace layups). In the case of this Carbon-4C/EC model, the helmet is a Carbon Composite 4-layer shell with EC (electronic comms) kit integration.

The Most Customizable Helmet in the World
The Stilo ST5 FN Composite helmet is an iconic helmet used in a variety of race types. Crafted from a Multi Sandwich Fiberglass layup and exceeding the Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859 rating, this helmet is predominantly used in open cockpit environments and features an array of improvements from the ST4 Helmet. Weighing in at 3.39lbs in the small shell size and 3.63lbs in the large shell size this helmet comes standard with a sleek white color with blue interior. The ST5 FN helmet most often is use in the top level racing where every ounce matters.
The FN (Formula Naked) helmet line was designed for open cockpit environments and features an aerodynamic design, while still featuring an array of features making it the go-to helmet for racing professionals. The ST5 builds upon our ST4 design with a larger eye port which opens past the line of sight and includes an 3mm clear visor coming standard with our anti-fog coating. Improvements also have been made to the interior design with removable cheek & top pads allowing drivers to obtain the perfect fit.
Helmets come standard with removable earmuff cushions which provide a significantly quieter environment for the driver by isolating the ear.

Although updated to meet the newest Snell SA2020 certification, the Stilo ST5 FN retains its FIA 8858-2015 homologation as well. This makes the helmet legal for nearly all road race usage (although some sanctioning bodies require FIA 8860 homologated helmets.)

The Stilo ST5 FN Composite is unsurpassed in built-in flexibility. Its two side ports can be fitted with 3 different types of integrated communication electronics, forced air, helmet eject system, or a hydration system. The most effective helmet is one that fits properly. To measure your head, have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head. Start at a point about an inch above your eyebrows, looping around the back of your head at the point that results in the largest measurement, and finally around to the front again. It's a good idea to take two or three measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
This helmet will ship with signature required for delivery.
