CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 622ºF Racing Brake Fluid
from $32.00
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid
Real-Life High Boiling Point Without The Real High Price
RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 328º C (622º F), RF1 exceeds all DOT3 & DOT4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.)
On the race track, brake systems operate at very high sustained temperatures, and there is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot.
So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene, the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days.
The bottom line is this: you can spend more on brake fluid, but you can't buy higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid.
RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details:
Typical dry boiling point: 328º C (622º F)
Typical wet boiling point: 204º C (399º F)
Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards
Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl oz)

A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid
All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point.
To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
Girodisc
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader GDPS01
$365.00
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader
This indispensable tool is used by race teams, shops, and enthusiasts alike who have high performance four- and six-piston calipers. The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader is designed to easily spread brake pads and pistons to facilitate quick replacement of pads and/or rotors in a shop or racing environment.
No more screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, or C-clamps! This tool will retract the pistons fully and evenly into their bores with one squeeze of the levers.
The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader was designed to be used with popular racing brake calipers from Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, and other performance calipers in racing and road use. To help it fit into any caliper, the amount of throw is adjustable.
Insert the spreading plates one way for wider six-piston calipers, then turn the spreader 90o and use the plate sides for four-piston calipers.
The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader is made from heavy-gauge steel, powder-coated for durability. The slider is cadmium-plated, and nylon pivot bushings ensure smooth action.
The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader will quickly become an invaluable tool for any race team, shop, or enthusiast who changes pads and rotors frequently.

RSL 19:
The PAGID RSL19 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RSL19 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.
RSC 1:
The Pagid RSC1 is a good street/track compromise for enthusiasts with Carbon-Ceramic Brakes. Used for sprint racing and track days compound with all known types of ceramic brake discs. An ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface.
RSC 2:
The Pagid RSC2 is a special race compound for ceramic discs with a high content of fibers in the friction surface. A medium-high friction pad with excellent fade resistance and long pad life, developed for sprint and endurance circuit racing.
RSC 3:
The Pagid RSC3 is a high-friction compound developed for ceramic discs. With a high initial bite, strong fade resistance, and slightly shorter pad life than the RSC2, this is Pagid's more aggressive ceramic-rotor racing pad.

Competition Motorsport is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country. Â We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline.
Fits Ferrari 599 GTB
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc.No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 8 or 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.Â

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc however a different brake pad with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66mm or less must be used. This is done to keep the rotor weight at a reasonable level. If we manufactured a rotor with the same annulus as the OEM CCM rotors they would be far too heavy.
The necessary pad shape is available from both Pagid and PFC. If there is a specific pad compound you're after, please contact us directly and we'll provide the correct part numbers.
