The Speedcom SCC-2MPI has two independent power sources. For the instructor going from car to car, the 4 internal AA batteries provides multiple weekends of power. For a driver who mounts the SCC-2MPI in their car a 12V DC flying lead (open wires) can power the intercom anytime vehicle power is available.

These dual IMSA cables are built-in and ready to connect to your Roux integrated electronics or any other helmet with an IMSA helmet kit. If your helmet is not wired, simply add two Speedcom SCC-SEIH Single Ear Intercom Headsets. This device requires headsets sold separately.

Power On/Off:
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds
Pressing the button temporarily will illuminate the screen but will not power cycle the unit
Adjusting Volume:
Both users have an individual volume control located on each side of the unit.
The volume is adjustable from 0 to 12 using the press + or - buttons.
Listening to loud volumes can permanently affect your hearing. This device is capable of creating sound that is loud enough to cause harm. Please use caution while using the Trac-Com V4
Connecting Headsets:
Insert the male connector found on the Trac-Com accessory into either female port on top of the Trac-Com V4, making sure to line up the notch on the male connector with the indentation on the female port.
To disconnect a headset, press and hold the black button on the male connector while pulling it out of the unit.
Dual Battery System - Overview:

This model is also compatible with a standard 9V battery, offering supplemental power.
The Trac-Com V4 can be powered exclusively using the internal battery without a 9V installed, reducing the weight and operating cost.
9V Battery Logic:
The Trac-Com V4 will default to using the 9V battery when installed. The readout will show 4 Bars of the full battery along with a 9V icon.
As the 9V drains, the bars will drop down to zero.
The system switches to the internal battery once the 9V battery is fully depleted. When using the internal battery, the screen will show a 3.7V icon.
Charging:
The 9V battery must be removed before charging
To charge the Trac-Com V4, insert a powered USB-C cable into the unit

How Does It Work?
Each driver starts by connecting one chaser unit to their personal cell phone – it is important that the Chasers are paired one at a time to avoid accidentally pairing the wrong device. To initiate the pairing mode, hold down the power button for a few seconds. The device will appear on the BT pairing screen on the phone, laptop, or other device. Each driver then connects either a Trac-Com Student headset or an integrated helmet kit to their corresponding Chaser unit (optional adapter cable required for integrated kits). With both devices properly setup, the Student and Instructor will use the paired phones to communicate with a phone call or any other audio sharing application on their phone. There are many different uses for this product and your phone or computer is the limit. Units are not able to be paired together.

Integrate Race Communications With Your Stilo GT-Series Helmet
Stilo's GT-Series helmets feature molded-in ports that, among other things, can accept a communications jack wired to a noise-cancelling microphone and either ear cups with speakers or a 1/8" (3.5mm) jack for connecting your own in-ear buds. There's even a system that has both!

The Stilo AE0210 is the most popular Stilo in-helmet communications kit. It fits all Stilo GT helmets that have side ports. The round button microphone is placed into a factory-designed hole in the chin bar interior padding, and the ear cup speakers are attached with Velcro to recesses in the side-padding on each side of the helmet.

The Stilo AE0214 is perfect for anyone with a Stilo GT-series helmet who uses custom earbuds. If you find ear cups uncomfortable and use ear buds, then the Stilo AE0214 communications kit is for you.
The Stilo AE0214 electronics kit uses a Stilo 1/8" (3.5mm) female ear-bud input jack. All incoming audio will be played through your ear buds. For the mic, your Stilo helmet has a recess in the interior chin bar padding.
Stilo AE0110 Ear Cup/Boom Mic Kit:
Designed for the GT helmet, this microphone and speakers kit integrates into GT's sideports allowing for seamless connection when swapping drivers in endurance racing. Featuring our Stilo boom mic, and earmuff speakers drivers can expect crystal clear communication through their helmet.

The Stilo AE0320is ideal for racing drivers whose cockpits are extremely loud, such as formula cars with the engine close to the driver or cars with an ultra-high compression V8. If your car is very loud, this is a great race communication upgrade for your Stilo helmet.
This Stilo dual electronics kit uses proven Stilo powered ear cup audio electronics for each ear, but also lets you use your earbuds. Incoming audio will play from both the ear cups and your ear buds simultaneously.
Your Stilo helmet has recesses in the cheek pad and chin bar padding to accommodate the noise-canceling microphone. The Gentex noise-canceling mic is on a flex boom, letting you place the mic barely touching your upper lip (saving your crew chief's ears).
