CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) - Competition Motorsport
Competition Motorsport CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 622ºF Racing Brake Fluid from $31.00
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real-Life High Boiling Point Without The Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 328º C (622º F), RF1 exceeds all DOT3 & DOT4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) On the race track, brake systems operate at very high sustained temperatures, and there is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene, the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend more on brake fluid, but you can't buy higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Typical dry boiling point: 328º C (622º F) Typical wet boiling point: 204º C (399º F) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!

A1-183 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors - Competition Motorsport
Girodisc A1-183 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors for Ferrari 458 Challenge $2,813.00
A1-183 Girodisc Two-Piece Front Brake Rotors FITMENT: Ferrari 458 Challenge, Front This Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM front CCM rotors on the Ferrari 458 Challenge, although a different brake pad than OEM, with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66 mm or less, must be used1. We suggest the Pagid 8081, the most popular pad used with Girodisc rotors on the Ferrari 458 Challenge. The lower-annulus design of the Girodisc rotors keeps weight low without sacrificing braking performance. Girodisc two-piece floating rotors are lighter than OEM brake rotors. This reduction in rotational mass and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration, sharper steering, and faster suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and CMS RF-1 brake fluid (available from Competition Motorsport), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of each Girodisc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance. Sold/priced per pair. 1 Note: These Girodisc rotors have a different annulus (pad swept area) than the OEM CCM rotors, to maintain their light weight. A brake pad with an annulus of 66mm or less must be used with these Girodisc rotors. The necessary pad shape is very common, found on the Nissan GT-R, Cadillac CTS-V, and most AMG Mercedes equipped with six-piston calipers. If there's a specific pad and/or compound you're after please, contact us at (844) 438-7244 and we'll get you what you need!
