This surface design improves pad bite, evacuates gases, and helps maintain cleaner pad contact under heavy braking, especially during high-heat operation. Are these rotors a direct fit for the CLK63 Black Series? Yes. They bolt directly to the factory hubs and work seamlessly with OEM calipers—no adapters or modifications needed. Do they make noise like drilled rotors? No. The dimpled and slotted pattern provides similar performance benefits without the cracking risks or excess noise associated with cross-drilled designs. Are they track-ready? Absolutely. Girodisc rotors are engineered for sustained high temperatures, making them ideal for aggressive driving, track sessions, or performance-oriented street use. Experience the braking precision your CLK63 Black Series deserves with Girodisc rear rotors—lightweight, durable, and designed for AMG-level performance.
Girodisc A1-022DS dimpled and slotted racing brake rotors
GiroDisc Racing Brakes & Technologies A1-022DS Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors | Drilled & Slotted (360mm) $2,007.00
Girodisc A1-022DS Drilled/Slotted 360mm Front Brake Rotors Fits the Following Cars: C63 AMG non-S (2008-present) CLK63 AMG Black (2008) CLS55 AMG (2005-06) CLS63 AMG (2007-11) E55 AMG (2003-06) E63 AMG (2007-09) E63 AMG (2010-present) SL55 AMG (2003-06) SL63 AMG (2009-11) High Performance Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors for Mercedes AMG This Girodisc floating iron rotor system is a direct replacement for your AMG front OEM rotors. No modifications to your car are necessary. The 360mm diameter rotors will bolt directly to your Mercedes AMG and work with the original calipers perfectly. The Girodisc front rotors are approximately 23.6 lbs vs. 34.5 lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When upgrading your original brakes with lightweight high performance iron replacements, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is drilled and slotted for incredible cooling, made from Girodisc's proprietary American-made cast iron and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The disc utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cooling air through the disc. The disc and hat are joined by a floating mount system using 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The drive pins bear the braking load while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side, allowing the rotor to grow with heat expansion while eliminating the rattle typically associated with floating rotors. A floating rotor will also self-center between the pads. Once your Girodisc system is in place, you can simply replace the cast iron discs as needed. Sold/priced per pair.

CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
CMS Performance CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $36.00
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance. No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding. So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Manufacturer: CMS Performance Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1 Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
