Each PFC brake pad is meticulously created to the highest performance and technology expectations. The folks at PFC take pride in the accomplishments of the drivers and race teams that run PFC products. With More Championships than Any Other™, PFC are among the best racing brakes on the market. Known around the globe in the sports car market, PFC is involved with numerous sports car racing events including:
IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge
Porsche Cup Racing
Pirelli World Challenge
With over 35 years of friction knowledge and on-track experience, PFC's process enables them to provide you with the proper friction every time.
No Compromise
All PFC pad compounds have been thoroughly processed and are “race ready”. That means very easy burnishing to bed pads and rotors.
PFC 332 Compound
The Performance Friction (PFC) 332 brake pad compound is engineered specifically for endurance racing, offering exceptional longevity, low wear rates, and consistent performance over extended race distances. This compound provides a balanced blend of moderate initial bite, smooth pedal feel, and excellent modulation, making it ideal for long-duration events where brake management is crucial.
Key Features of PFC 332 Brake Pad Compound
Consistent Performance: Maintains stable friction levels throughout the race, reducing the need for pad changes.
Smooth and Predictable Modulation: Allows precise control and confidence-inspiring pedal feel.
Low Wear Rate: Designed to extend pad and rotor life, minimizing maintenance needs.
Heat Resistance: Withstands high operating temperatures without excessive fade.
PFC 332 is a preferred choice for endurance racing teams seeking reliability, durability, and consistent braking performance throughout long stints. It offers a great balance between bite, control, and longevity, making it an excellent option for endurance series like IMSA, WEC, and club-level endurance racing.
PFC 84 Compound
PFC 84 is the newest rear endurance compound in the PFC lineup. It shook the endurance sportscar world when it took its first win upon release at the 2023 24hr of Nürburgring. This pad is heavily degressive to work together with modern ABS systems, providing a stable, controllable rear end and minimized Lockups. Its high initial bite allows this pad to not only be the perfect low wear endurance option, but also can be used in medium distance applications. Like its front counterpart (82) the 84 compound has an extremely low wear rate, while being gentle on discs. All of this paired with superior modulation creates a pad that finds its home in being crazy durable, and crazy quick! It was developed alongside experienced teams and drivers to create a compound that sets a new standard in speed for the endurance sports car world.
PFC 39 Compound
PFC 39 compound is our newest choice for sprint and semi-endurance races in GT, TCR, NASCAR or rally tarmac/gravel. PFC 39 has a high initial bite and the highest average torque of any PFC compound. Recommended for high downforce and severe environments. Very good retardation. Release and modulation characteristics are its best qualities, providing excellent control to the drivers, and avoiding lock-up. There is virtually no torque rise with temperature. A very positive and firm pedal when braking is another of its advantages. PFC 39 offers excellent wear, better than 13, 15 or 333. Compound 39 is designed to handle the most severe applications. The winner’s choice!
PFC 19 Compound
The PFC 19 compound is a high-performance brake pad compound, typically used in motorsports and high-performance driving applications. It's designed for vehicles requiring superior stopping power, fade resistance, and consistency under high-stress braking conditions.
Key Features of the PFC 19 Compound
High-Temperature Performance: The PFC 19 compound is engineered to perform at extremely high temperatures, making it suitable for endurance racing and motorsports where repeated heavy braking can push temperatures to extreme levels. It's designed to work well in high-heat environments while maintaining braking performance throughout.
Excellent Fade Resistance: One of the standout features of the PFC 19 compound is its fade resistance, meaning it will maintain its stopping power even during extended periods of high braking demand (such as in track racing or endurance events). This is crucial for keeping performance consistent throughout long, high-intensity events.
Durability: The PFC 19 is durable, offering a good balance between high performance and longevity. It is able to withstand repeated hard braking while maintaining its integrity. It's often used in endurance racing where brake pads must last through several hours or even longer.
Strong Initial Bite: The PFC 19 compound offers strong initial bite, which is important for drivers who need immediate and consistent response from the brakes, especially in racing situations where quick reaction times are crucial.
High Friction: The compound is designed to provide high friction, offering superior braking performance. This is particularly beneficial in racing applications where rapid deceleration is necessary.
Modulation and Control: The PFC 19 is designed to provide a smooth and predictable brake feel, allowing drivers to have excellent modulation and control over their braking inputs. This is important for maintaining performance and handling in demanding situations.
PFC 11 Compound
A new generation sprint and medium-distance friction compound, PFC 11 gives you the ultimate in control alongside superior disc conditioning. Developed from the famed PFC 01 compound with improved bite, modulation, and release characteristics. The PFC 11 is ultra-smooth, developed to reduce wheel lock-up at the end of braking while giving you more cold- and hot-bite than the more endurance-oriented PFC 08 compound.
