If you have a BMW M2, M3, or M4 with blue calipers and iron rotors, this Girodisc floating iron rotor system is a direct replacement for your BMW ;front rotors. No modifications to your car are necessary. The 380mm diameter rotors will bolt directly to your BMW and work with the original blue calipers perfectly. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance.

Girodisc replacement rotor rings are direct replacements for the iron discs on your Girodisc A1-186 two-piece rotors, with no modifications necessary. New cap screws and washers are included with these replacement rotors. We do not recommend re-using the old hardware.

RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids.
Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids.
On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance.
No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding.
So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days.
The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid.

A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid
All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point.
To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!

PFC 11 Compound
A new generation sprint and medium-distance friction compound, PFC 11 gives you the ultimate in control and modulation, along with superior disc conditioning. Developed from PFC's ultra-popular 01 compound with improved bite, modulation, and release characteristics. PFC 11 is ultra-smooth, developed to reduce wheel locking at the end of braking while giving more hot and cold bite than the endurance-oriented 08 compound. Brake with ultimate control, modulation, and confidence.
PFC 08 Compound
One of PFC's most popular compounds which came to fame in Endurance sports car and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. PFC 08 has a slight friction rise with temperature, with excellent release and modulation characteristics. Despite its considerable performance, PFC 08 has the lowest wear rate of all PFC compounds, easily matching the wear characteristics of competitors' materials but with much higher bite and consistent performance across a broad temperature range.

The Raybestos ST43 are among our favorite intermediate track-day/racing brake pads. A moderately aggressive pad that's very easy on rotors, they have slightly lower overall friction and initial bite than the most aggressive race compounds. The trade-off, however, is lower running temps and increased rotor and pad life. These pads are absolutely ideal for track-day enthusiasts. We have customers running them in Ferrari Challenge cars, Corvettes, Vipers, Mitsubishi Evos, and Subaru STis. The Raybestos ST43 work extremely well with ABS as they are more forgiving with their initial bite.

However, when you consider these pads were developed for NASCAR (i.e., heavy, high-horsepower cars with lots of tire and downforce), "intermediate" means "full-boogie" in a 350 to 400hp amateur-driven sports car. These have been tested by countless customers and given the universal thumbs up for overall performance, longevity, and satisfaction.

RE10 is the ultimate endurance race compound, offering a balance of excellent stopping power, low thermal conductivity, and extremely low pad and rotor wear. Utilizing the latest friction material technology, Race Technologies RE10 offers consistent performance in the most demanding environments.
Typical applications include professional endurance racing, club racing, and HPDE on high braking demand platforms.
RACING PAD NOTES
Running a "racing use only" pad on the street could produce excessive noise and dust.
Rotor wear could be accelerated if driven at consistently cold temperatures or used in the incorrect temperature range.
Racing pads are designed to work in specific temperature ranges so it's important to choose the right compound for the environment the vehicle will be used in.
Pad compounds are tested on a brake dynamometer over repeated brake applications to test the materials in a controlled environment. Real-world wear rates and temperatures will be influenced by car setup, grip levels, track layout and other variables
