CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
CMS Performance CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $36.00
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance. No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding. So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Manufacturer: CMS Performance Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1 Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
Castrol React SRF racing brake fluid 1000ml bottle
Castrol Castrol React SRF Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid (1000 ml) from $107.00
Castrol React SRF Racing Brake Fluid Ultra-High Wet Boiling Point Makes Castrol SRF A Standout Castrol React SRF Racing Brake Fluid is an ultra-high performance brake fluid popular with many of the highest performing auto racing teams around the world. The key to Castrol SRF brake fluid's performance is its silicon-ester technology. Not only is it less hygroscopic (i.e., it absorbs less water) than typical glycol-based brake fluids, Castrol SRF also reacts chemically with any absorbed water to further reduce its adverse effects on high-temperature braking performance. The result is an almost unheard of 518° F (270° C) wet boiling point, more than 100° F higher than most other racing brake fluids! Exceeds SAE 1703, ISO 4925, JIS K2233, FMVSS No. 116 DOT3 and DOT 4 specifications. Note: Castrol SRF is not a silicone-based brake fluid (i.e., DOT 5) and is compatible with most factory brake systems and fluids, including DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids. Always follow vehicle manufacturer's recommendations when adding brake fluid. Castrol React SRF Racing Brake Fluid Typical Properties: Dry Boiling Point: 590°F (310°C) Wet Boiling Point: 518°F (270°C) Superior anti-vapor lock properties One-liter (1000ml) bottle

When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid (available from Competition Motorsport), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. Pagid 8081 Racing Brake Pad FAQs Q: Is Pagid better than Textar?A: Both Pagid and Textar are reputable brake pad manufacturers, but Pagid is often preferred for high-performance and motorsport applications due to its superior friction materials, heat resistance, and longevity. Textar, on the other hand, is known for OEM and standard road applications. Q: Who makes Pagid brake pads?A: Pagid brake pads are manufactured by TMD Friction, one of the world's leading suppliers of braking technology, known for producing high-quality brake pads for motorsport, OEM, and aftermarket applications. Q: How long do Pagid brake pads last?A: The lifespan of Pagid brake pads depends on driving style, vehicle type, and usage conditions. For regular street use, they typically last 30,000 to 50,000 miles, but aggressive driving or frequent track days can significantly shorten their lifespan. Q: How long do racing brake pads last?A: Racing brake pads have a much shorter lifespan due to intense heat and friction conditions. Depending on the compound and usage, they can last anywhere from a single race event to several track days, with endurance compounds like RSL29 and RSL1 designed to last longer under extreme conditions. Q: Can I use Pagid Brake pads for daily driving?A: Yes! While RS14 pads are optimized for track use, they can also be used on the street. However, expect increased brake dust and some noise compared to standard street pads. Q: Do Pagid pads require a specific break-in process?A: Absolutely. Proper bedding-in ensures optimal performance and longevity. Follow Pagid’s heat cycling procedure to maximize braking efficiency. Q: What’s the difference between RS14, RSL29, and RSL1 pads?A: RS14 is designed for track days and aggressive driving, RSL29 is optimized for endurance racing, and RSL1 offers even greater longevity and heat resistance for extreme endurance racing. Q: Do Pagid brake pads work well in wet conditions?A: Yes! Pagid’s high-performance compounds maintain strong grip and consistency even in wet conditions, making them a reliable choice for unpredictable track days. Q: How often should I replace my Pagid brake pads?A: Pad longevity depends on driving style and conditions. Frequent track use may require replacement after a few events, while street use allows for longer durability.
