Girodisc D1-114 BMW E9X 335i Front Ring FAQs

Can these be installed with OEM BMW rotor hats? No. The D1-114 rings are designed for Girodisc aluminum hats only and will not fit factory one-piece rotors.

Which brake pads are ideal for this setup? For street use, Ferodo DS2500 or Hawk HPS 5.0 pads provide quiet operation and smooth bite. For track use, Pagid RS29 or Carbotech XP10 offer consistent friction under high heat.

What torque should be applied to the hardware? Torque each bolt to 12 ft-lbs (16 Nm) using blue Loctite, and recheck after one full heat cycle or initial track session.

Are these rotors directional? Yes. Each rotor is labeled for left and right installation, ensuring the curved vanes circulate air efficiently for maximum cooling performance.

Upgrade your BMW 335i’s braking system with Girodisc D1-114 355mm front replacement rings — designed for precision, cooling, and reliability on the street or track.
