Girodisc Ferrari Portofino / Roma Rear Iron Rotor Conversion

The Girodisc A2-278 Rear Iron Rotor Conversion is engineered to replace the factory rear rotors on Ferrari Portofino and Roma models, offering a robust, high-performance iron alternative built for track use and aggressive street driving. This system integrates seamlessly with the OEM brake setup while providing enhanced durability, cooling, and serviceability.
Design & Engineering
Each rotor merges a 6061-T6 aluminum hat with a proprietary high-carbon cast iron ring, produced and polished in-house. This 2-piece floating configuration allows thermal expansion without distortion. The rotor’s 48 curved vanes act as an internal centrifugal pump, pulling air inward from the hub to cool the disc efficiently under repeated demands.
The floating mount system uses cadmium-plated steel drive pins in concert with Belleville washers and spring clips to maintain pad alignment, prevent rattle, and allow precise rotational movement. This ensures quiet operation during street use while retaining full racing capability.
