The Girodisc system replaces the factory cast rotor with a fully rebuildable two-piece floating design. Each rotor features a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum hat and Girodisc’s proprietary cast-iron friction ring, both made in the USA. The internal curved vane layout acts as a centrifugal air pump, maintaining even cooling and consistent friction under extended use. The result is enhanced control and reduced fade for street or track driving.
