The Recaro Pole Position (ABE) is a thoroughbred racing shell licensed for a sporty ride on the open road. The Recaro Pole Position (ABE) is the ultimate track-road crossover seat. With a one-piece shell made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) or carbon fiber (CF) and flawless ergonomics, it's no wonder this seat has a long-standing track record as one of club motorsport’s most popular racing shells. Many exclusive car manufacturers upgrade their top performance models with the Pole Position ABE.

The Recaro Pole Position (ABE) is available trimmed in Black Velour, Ambla Leather/Red Suede, Black Velour, or Full Black Leather (some shell/color combos are not available).

Uses these Recaro side mounts.

The Recaro Pole Position (ABE) is not a certified competition seat. It is not homologated by either SFI or FIA.

1 The German ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) standard is a certification issued by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt or KBA). This certification indicates that a particular aftermarket automotive part or modification complies with safety and environmental regulations, allowing it to be legally used on vehicles in Germany. The ABE standard ensures that modifications or aftermarket parts meet specific quality, safety, and environmental standards set by the German authorities. It's crucial for ensuring that vehicles remain safe and compliant with regulations even after modifications or the installation of aftermarket parts.
