We've designed the new CMS Performance Roll Bar for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS to be the strongest, safest, and most beautifully constructed roll bar on the market. In designing the CMS Performance Roll Bar for your Porsche GT4 RS, safety and structural rigidity are, as always, our primary concerns. That's why we use 1.75 x .095" Docol R8 Advanced High-Strength Steel tubing. Docol R8 is stronger and more ductile than the Chromoly tubing other manufacturers use.
The CMS Performance Porsche GT4 RS Roll Bar features a cross-bar designed to put your racing harness shoulder straps at the correct angle (0° to -20° front-to-back) and distance (about 8 inches) relative to the driver. Yet the CMS roll bar requires no cutting through the carpeting in the middle of your interior (replacing this carpet is expensive if you ever want to return your car to stock). This also provides an ideal mount for a HD Racing Video camera.

Our use of Docol R8 tubing throughout also lets us to keep the driver's rear view unobstructed by the rear diagonal bracing typically used to support weaker roll bars. This also gives you unfettered access to the engine cover without removing any part of your roll bar. Other roll bars require partial removal to get at your engine -- not ideal in a car that sees track time.
The CMS Performance Roll Bar for the Porsche GT4RS is designed with rear kickers that route over the incredible carbon fiber intakes and engine cover and bolt to the GT4 RS rear shock towers. These are the safest, strongest possible mounting points, adding rigidity to the chassis and suspension. The main roll hoop is mounted to the frame structure across the rear bulkhead for light weight and superior safety.

Or you can add either the Schroth Profi II ASM GT4 or Sabelt Porsche GT4 four-point harnesses for one or both seats. Both the six-point and four-point harnesses are specially designed to bolt directly to your Porsche GT4RS lightweight carbon bucket seats.
If you're installing six-point harnesses in your Porsche, we strongly recommend adding the CMS Performance Sub Strap Mount to your seats. This custom-made steel sub strap mount provides a solid, properly located anchor for your anti-submarine strap, and it's easy to install at the same time as your roll bar.
