Girodisc A1-034 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (380mm) $1,450.00
A1-034 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (380mm) FITS: Audi RS4 B8/B9 Audi R8 Audi RS5 Audi RS6 Lamborghini Gallardo Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 (w/OEM steel rotors) Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products. As one of the largest stocking dealers in the country, we ship most products the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. This Girodisc system upgrades the 365mm OEM brakes to a 380mm two-piece steel disc and aluminum hat. This two-piece floating rotor design will bolt directly to your Audi or Lamborghini front suspension and work flawlessly with the OEM calipers. Upgrading your brakes to lightweight, high-performance Girodisc rotors, you maintain the factory brake bias and ABS effectiveness. Much lighter than the OEM rotors, Girodisc rotors reduce rotational and unsprung mass giving you stronger braking and faster suspension response. Combined with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Competition Motorsport RF-1 racing brake fluid, Girodisc rotors are the ultimate solution to overheated, cracked, warped rotors that result from high-performance driving. The central hat of the rotor is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured in the USA from the same cast iron used by professional racing organizations. Its curved-vane design, developed in racing, acts like a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc. The disc and hat mount together through a floating mount system using ten cadmium plated, high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc. These drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to allow for heat expansion. Anti-noise spring washers eliminate the noise typically associated with floating rotors. This two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement, reusing the hat to minimize maintenance costs. Sold/priced per pair.

CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
CMS Performance CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $24.95
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance. No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding. So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Manufacturer: CMS Performance Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1 Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
