CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
CMS Performance CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $24.95
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance. No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding. So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Manufacturer: CMS Performance Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1 Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!

Pagid Racing Brake compounds are for steel (cast iron) rotors only unless otherwise noted. Pagid RSL 29 Compound: Pagid RS 14 Compound: The Pagid RS 14 (Black) is a high friction value ceramic compound with very good modulation and high fade resistance. A very popular, aggressive pad with strong initial bite and high torque. In addition to the track-day environment, RS14 has shown success in short- to medium-distance circuit racing as well as gravel and tarmac rallying. The Pagid RSL 29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. Pagid RSL 1 Compound: Used in GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the high friction and good modulation, often used in sprint races as well. RSL 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races. Pagid RSC 1 Compound (Ceramic Rotors Only): A race and track day compound for all known types of ceramic brake discs, RSC 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. This material features good all-round characteristics and is suitable for all types of usage. Pagid RST 1 Compound: Used in Rally tarmac, GT cars and touring cars circuit racing (sprint), high down-force formula cars, NASCAR. Suitable for applications in heavy cars and where high torque is necessary against small diameter rotors. RST 1 has a very high friction level and high temperature resistance. It is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. Cold friction and initial bite makes this material most appropriate for Rally and NASCAR applications. Pagid RST 3 Compound: RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family. It captivates by its low heat conductivity. Rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, touring cars and prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. Wide range of applications due to it‘s combination of bite, friction and controllability.

A2-128 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors - Competition Motorsport
Girodisc A2-128 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors $1,750.00
FITS: Ferrari 458 CHALLENGE   Competition Motorsport is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country.  We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline.   The GiroDisc system is an upgrade to a 2-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc.  The 2-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.  By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.  The Giro Disc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces.  The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.   When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid (also available from CompetitionMotorsport.com), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.  The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.     The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.   The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.   Sold/Priced per pair.
