Girodisc A1-220 Two Piece Floating Front Racing Brake Rotors Girodisc Rotors to Replace the Front Rotors on the Following Cars: BMW F80 M3 including CS with optional carbon ceramic brake package (gold calipers) BMW F82 M4 including CS with optional carbon ceramic brake package (gold calipers) BMW F87 M2, M2 Competition & M2 CS with red or silver calipers BMW F87 M2 CS with optional carbon ceramic brake package (gold calipers) High Performance Brake Rotors to Replace Your Fragile BMW Rotors Whether you have a BMW M2 with red or silver calipers and drilled rotors or a BMW M2, M3, or M4 with gold calipers and the OEM CCB, this Girodisc floating iron rotor system is a direct replacement for your BMW front rotors. No modifications to your car are necessary. The 400mm diameter rotors will bolt directly to your BMW and work with the original red, silver, or gold calipers (depending on your model) perfectly. By upgrading your BMW CCB brakes with lightweight high performance iron replacements, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's proprietary American-made cast iron and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The disc utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cooling air through the disc. The disc and hat are joined by a floating mount system using 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The drive pins bear the braking load while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side, allowing the rotor to grow with heat expansion while eliminating the rattle typically associated with floating rotors. A floating rotor will also self-center between the pads. Once your Girodisc system is in place, you can simply replace the cast iron discs as needed. Sold/priced per pair.

The best highest performance racing brake fluid on the market today is CMS Performance RF1 with a dry boiling point of 622ºF!
Competition Motorsport CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $24.95
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 622oF Racing Brake Fluid Buy in bulk and save. Get six bottles and save 15%, or a case of 12 and save a whopping 25%! The Highest Dry Boiling Point Racing Brake Fluid You Can Buy CMS Performance RF1 fully synthetic Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to provide the highest performance under racing and track-day conditions, where braking systems operate at very high sustained temperatures. RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) There is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than brakes. And no part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At Competition Motorsport, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid on the track that didn't live up to its claimed performance. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene Chemicals, a British brake fluid supplier to professional race teams in Formula 1, WEC, and many other pro series, CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at extreme temperatures and line pressures found in racing, track days, and spirited driving. Bottom line: you can spend more money, but you can't buy higher-performing racing brake fluid! CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Specifications: Typical dry boiling point: 622° F (328° C) Typical wet boiling point: 399° F (204° C) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Individual 500 ml (16.7 oz.) bottles Click Here For The RF1 Product MSDS Sheet A Note About Brake Fluid Boiling Points DOT 4 brake fluid like RF1 is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts water over time sitting in your brake lines and reservoir. At high brake temperatures, this water can boil in your car's brake lines, causing the fluid in the lines to become compressible. That's what you feel when you experience brake fade. This is why the "wet" (aged fluid) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (brand new fluid) boiling point. Since time is the enemy of brake fluid performance, the best practice is to replace your racing brake fluid before each track event/weekend. At a minimum, flush it with new fluid at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. A couple bottles of fluid will flush most sports cars or race cars. It ends up being pretty cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way.

Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. RS 14: The PAGID RS14 (Black) is a high friction value ceramic compound with very good modulation and high fade resistance. A very popular, aggressive pad with strong initial bite and high torque. In addition to the track-day environment, RS14 has shown success in short- to medium-distance circuit racing as well as gravel and tarmac rallying. RSC 1: RSC1 is a good street/track compromise for enthusiasts with Carbon-Ceramic Brakes. Used for sprint racing and track days compound with all known types of ceramic brake discs. An ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface.
Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 4934
Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 4934 from $624.01
RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.
