Ferrari 398mm Front Rotors
Girodisc 398mm front rotors bring race-level braking performance to your Ferrari, replacing the stock carbon-ceramic setup with a durable, serviceable iron system. Designed as a direct-fit solution, these rotors require no modifications and work seamlessly with the factory calipers once fitted with brake pads that feature a 66mm swept area or less. The result is a lighter, cooler-running system that delivers exceptional pedal feel and fade resistance on both street and track.
Each Girodisc rotor is crafted in the USA using a combination of 6061-T6 aluminum hats and proprietary high-carbon cast-iron rings. The internal curved vane design actively pumps air through the rotor to dissipate heat under extreme braking, ensuring consistent performance lap after lap.

Girodisc A1-111 FAQs
Do these rotors fit OEM Ferrari calipers? Yes. They’re a direct-fit replacement for factory carbon-ceramic discs when using pads with ≤66mm annulus.
Can I use standard pads? You’ll need pads with a smaller swept area—common on many 6-piston Brembo-style calipers. Girodisc can recommend compatible compounds.
Are they lighter than the factory setup? Yes. Despite being iron, the design maintains a manageable weight while offering more consistent thermal performance.
Will they make noise like other floating rotors? No. Girodisc’s anti-noise spring washers allow float without rattling.
How are they sold? Sold and priced per pair.
Upgrade your Ferrari’s braking performance and reliability with Girodisc 398mm front rotors—engineered to perform, cool, and endure where carbon-ceramics fall short.

Girodisc A2-161 Rear Rotor FAQs:
Do these fit all Ferrari 360 models? Yes. They’re compatible with all 360 variants, including the Modena, Spider, and Challenge Stradale, using factory calipers and hardware.
How do these rotors differ from OEM? Girodisc rotors weigh less, dissipate heat faster, and are fully rebuildable—so you only replace the iron rings instead of the entire assembly.
Are these suitable for both street and track driving? Absolutely. They perform flawlessly under daily driving conditions and provide the thermal stability needed for extended track sessions.
Will these change brake bias or ABS function? No. The Girodisc rotors match OEM dimensions to maintain perfect brake bias and full ABS compatibility.

The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement1 for the OEM brake rotors. These two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with your OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight, high-performance replacements (as opposed to a big brake kit), your factory brake bias is maintained, along with your ABS efficiency.
Girodisc two-piece floating rotors are lighter than traditional cast iron brake rotors. This reduction in rotational mass and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration, sharper steering, and faster suspension response.
When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 racing brake fluid, you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance.
Sold/priced per pair.
1 Note: These Girodisc rotors have a different annulus (pad swept area) than the OEM CCM rotors, to maintain their light weight. A brake pad with an annulus of 66mm or less must be used with these Girodisc rotors.
The necessary pad shape is very common, found on the Nissan GT-R, Cadillac CTS-V, and most AMG Mercedes equipped with six-piston calipers.
If there's a specific pad and/or compound you're after please, contact us at (844) 438-7244 and we'll get you what you need!

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly.
The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc.
The pins are secured by Class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
