A1-211 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors | Camaro ZL1 (Gen 6)
$1,250.00
Girodisc 2-Piece Front Brake Rotors | Camaro ZL1 (Gen 6)
The Girodisc 2-piece front rotors are the ultimate performance upgrade for the sixth-generation Camaro ZL1. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory discs, they deliver improved cooling efficiency, lower weight, and better pedal consistency under hard braking. A shorter 66 mm annulus design trims unnecessary mass without sacrificing pad coverage, cutting rotor weight to just 28 lbs per side while still offering maximum durability for street and track use.
Advanced Engineering for a Better-Balanced ZL1
Chevrolet’s stock pillar-vane rotors are heavy and prone to heat soak, tipping the scales at 32.5 lbs each. Girodisc’s re-engineered system replaces them with a 72-vane directional design that acts as a centrifugal air pump, actively drawing cooling air through the rotor for consistent thermal control. The hat section is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, and the iron rings are cast in-house from Girodisc’s proprietary high-carbon alloy. The result: quicker heat recovery, sharper response, and reduced fade lap after lap.

Reduced Weight: 28 lb assembly saves 4.5 lbs per corner versus OEM rotors for faster suspension response.
72-Vane Curved Design: Directional internal vanes deliver superior airflow and thermal balance.
Floating Mount System: Twelve high-strength steel pins with anti-noise washers allow expansion without vibration.
Replaceable Rings: Reuse the anodized aluminum hats – simply swap the iron rings when worn.
Made in the USA: Every rotor is designed, cast, and machined at Girodisc’s Bellingham WA facility.

CMS Performance
CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
from $24.95
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid
Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price
RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids.
Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids.
On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance.
No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding.
So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days.
The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid.
CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details:

A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid
All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point.
To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
