A2-110 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors  FITS: Ferrari 430 SCUDERIA   Competition Motorsport is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country.  We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline.   The GiroDisc system is an upgrade to a 2-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc.  The 2-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.  By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.  The Giro Disc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces.  The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.   When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid (also available from CompetitionMotorsport.com), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
