Girodisc A-110Â FAQs
Can I use my OEM calipers with these rotors? Yes. These are direct-fit replacements for the 430 Scuderia’s carbon-ceramic discs.
What pads should I use? You’ll need a pad with a swept area of 66mm or less—common among 6-piston Brembo setups. Girodisc can assist with compatible part numbers.
Do they improve braking feel? Absolutely. Iron rotors provide more consistent pedal feedback and better modulation under repeated hard stops.
Are they quieter than typical floating rotors? Yes. Anti-noise spring washers eliminate rattle while preserving the benefits of floating hardware.
How are they sold? Sold and priced per pair.
Upgrade your Ferrari’s braking precision and serviceability with Girodisc’s front iron rotor conversion—crafted for the enthusiast who demands consistent, fade-free performance.

Girodisc A2-110 Rear Iron Rotor Conversion FAQs:
Why convert from carbon ceramic to iron rotors? Girodisc’s iron conversion offers more consistent braking at high temperatures, lower replacement costs, and improved serviceability while maintaining excellent performance.
Are these compatible with OEM calipers? Yes. They bolt directly to the stock hubs and work perfectly with the original Ferrari Brembo calipers and hardware.
Do these rotors require any special pads? You can use standard iron-compatible pads. It’s recommended to install fresh pads matched for iron rotors when performing the conversion.
Can I switch back to carbon ceramic later? Yes. This conversion does not alter the hub or caliper setup, so reverting to OEM carbon ceramic rotors is fully reversible.

The GiroDisc replacement rotor system is a direct rotor disc replacement for the Giro Disc 2-piece hat and rotor and no modifications are necessary. Â
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. Â The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. Â The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement to minimize replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.

Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader GDPS01
$260.00
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader
The Right Tool for the Job
This indispensable tool is used by race teams, shops, and enthusiasts alike who have high performance four- and six-piston calipers. The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader is designed to easily spread brake pads and pistons to facilitate quick replacement of pads and/or rotors in a shop or racing environment.
No more screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, or C-clamps! This tool will retract the pistons fully and evenly into their bores with one squeeze of the levers.
The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader was designed to be used with popular racing brake calipers from Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, and other performance calipers in racing and road use. To help it fit into any caliper, the amount of throw is adjustable.
Built Like a Tank. Works Like a Charm.
Insert the spreading plates one way for wider six-piston calipers, or turn the spreader 90o and use the plate sides for four-piston calipers.
The Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader is made from heavy-gauge steel, powder-coated for durability. The slider is cadmium-plated, and nylon pivot bushings ensure smooth action. It will quickly become an invaluable tool for any race team, shop, or enthusiast who changes pads and rotors frequently.
CMS Performance
CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
from $24.95
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid
Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price
RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids.
Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids.
On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance.
No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding.
So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days.
The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid.
CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details:
Manufacturer: CMS Performance
Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1
Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C
Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C
Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards

A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid
All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point.
To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
