Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01
Girodisc Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01 $250.00
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader This indispensable tool is used by race teams, shops, and enthusiasts alike who have high performance four- and six-piston calipers. The spreader is designed to spread brake pads and pistons in four- and six-piston calipers to facilitate quick replacement of pads and/or rotors in a shop or racing environment. No more screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, or C-clamps! This tool will retract the pistons evenly and all the way back into their bores with one squeeze of the levers. The Girodisc spreader was designed around popular four-piston and six-piston calipers from Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, and other performance calipers in racing and road use. To help fit in any caliper, the amount of throw is adjustable.Insert the spreading plates one way for wider six-piston calipers, then turn the spreader 90o and use the plate sides for four-piston calipers. The Girodisc Pad Spreader is made from heavy-gauge steel and is powder-coated for durability. The slider is cadmium-plated, and nylon pivot bushings ensure smooth action. The Girodisc Pad Spreader will quickly become an invaluable tool for any race team, shop, or enthusiast who changes pads and rotors with any frequency.

RT RE10*:RE10 is the ultimate endurance race compound offering a balance of excellent stopping power, low thermal conductivity, extremely low pad and disc wear. Utilizing the latest friction material technology, RE10 offers consistent performance under the most demanding of environments. Typical Applications: Professional Endurance Racing, Club Racing, and HPDE on high demand brake platforms *Denotes a "race only" pad. Running a "racing use only" pad on the street could produce excessive noise and dust. Disc wear could be accelerated if driven at cold temperatures or used in the incorrect temperature range. Racing pads are designed to work in specific temperature ranges so it is important to choose the desired compound for the correct environment the vehicle will be used in. Pad Compounds are run on a brake dynamometer over multiple brake applications (stops) to test the materials in a controlled environment for the most accurate data. Wear rates and temperatures can be influenced by car setup, grip levels, track layout/configuration and many other variables.

MP-1291 Girodisc Mercedes AMG Six-Piston Magic Pads (Front)
Girodisc MP-1291 Girodisc Mercedes AMG Six-Piston Magic Pads (Front) $250.00
Girodisc "Magic Pads" are the solution to your squeaky, dusty, expensive factory replacement pads. They have lower dust than typical factory pads and much less than other performance pads. You won't be cleaning your wheels nearly as often! Additionally, they have great initial bite, something most less-expensive pads lack. But the real reason people like Magic Pads so much is they are the "silver bullet" to brake noise problems. Magic Pads are a semi-metallic composition that is easy on rotors and on your wallet. We recommend always replacing pads as a whole car set when switching compounds. All Magic Pads come with anti-noise shields pre-installed and included in the price. When comparison shopping, be sure to note the high quality of Girodisc components. If you have any questions, give us a call at (844) 438-7244. We're happy to help!

Developed from 01 compound with improved bite, modulation, and release characteristics. It is ultra smooth and developed to reduce wheel locking at the end of braking while giving more cold and hot bite than the endurance oriented 08 compound. Brake with confidence; brake with ultimate control and modulation. PFC 08 COMPOUND One of PFC's most popular compounds which came to fame in Endurance Sports Car and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. PFC 08 has a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics. Despite its considerable performance, 08 has the lowest wear rate of all PFC compounds and can easily match the wear characteristics of competitors' endurance materials but with much higher bite and consistent performance across a broad temperature range.

RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.
