Schroth
Schroth Right Side Net
$352.00
Schroth Right Side Racing Net
The Schroth right side driver's net offers the best in driver safety. Attaches to the roll cage of your race car. Made of polyester, these nets will last longer than ordinary nylon nets. Polyester is not as susceptible to UV degradation over time.
We view right side nets (also called "cage nets") as a mandatory piece of safety equipment. In an impact, the body moves forward 6-8 inches. This is normal and quite necessary to prevent injury, with the harness stretching to help decelerate the body. If you're in a lateral impact (an impact that's not straight on), there are high lateral forces that will move you side-to-side. Without a right side net, it's very easy for the body to wrap around the side of the seat when the harnesses have stretched. A right side net prevents this by guiding your head and shoulders back into the seat keeping you from painful injury.
Note: this used to be an SFI-rated product, but it is now FIA-rated. Schroth nets are tested with a dynamic load to more accurately represent the real world.
Carefully read the section about installing the net in your race car. The FIA requires that two vertical sections are in contact with the seat back to provide support. Schroth has added additional vertical sections to the FIA net, differentiating it from SFI-rated nets. Also make note of the angles involved in the installation.
The FIA recommends that a net be installed on either side of the seat for driver restraint. The FIA does not view the exterior net as adequate for restraining the driver; they want to see two interior nets whenever possible. The Tudor series currently enforces this and mandates two interior nets as well as a window net.
The FIA requires that the net be mount with the horizontal sections of webbing on the inside by the driver, so the drivers helmet has a smooth surface to slide down during an impact. On Schroth nets, this can be accomplished on both sides just be flipping the net over.
The FIA requires that the quick-release button be capable of being released under load, which is way Schroth developed their new style quick-release. The ratchet strap and metal clasp (seen on previous nets) have been removed from the net due to their inability to withstand an appropriate dynamic load. The new quick-release is lighter and safer than previous versions.

Pagid
Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 8082
from $349.00
RSL 29:
The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races.
Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications.
This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures.
Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

Carbotech
Carbotech CT28906R Brake Pads
from $346.00
Carbotech CT28906R Performance & Racing Brake Pads
Precision braking starts here. The Carbotech CT28906R brake pads offer world-class stopping power across a range of compounds engineered for HPDE, club racing, time trials, and daily driving. Whether you're shaving tenths at a national event or building consistency during weekend track days, there's a Carbotech compound tailored to your performance goals.
Manufactured in the USA using Carbotech’s proprietary ceramic and metallic formulations, these pads deliver unmatched modulation, rotor friendliness, and fade resistance.
Friction materials have evolved significantly over the years. Brake pads were originally made with organic ingredients such as asbestos and carbon, held together by a strong resin. Most brake pads sold today are considered semi-metallic, semi-metallic brake pads use brass, copper, and steel wool shavings held together by a resin. Unfortunately, the main drawback about the use of steel strands, iron, graphite, and small amounts of filer and friction modifiers (used to provide strength and conduct heat away from the rotors) is that the metal shavings and iron must rub against steel rotors every time the brakes are applied. This generates more noise and is a lot more abrasive on the rotors. It also creates corrosive dust that can damage your braking system as well as the paint on your wheels and car.
Friction materials that contain Ceramic Kevlar formulations have become recognized for their desirable blend of traits. This allows the Ceramic Kevlar pads to handle higher brake temperatures with less heat fade, and provide faster recovery after heavy braking. It also reduces brake dust and makes wheel maintenance easier!
Ceramic Kevlar compounds extend brake life compared to most other semi-metallic and organic materials, and at the same time they outlast other premium pad materials by a significant margin, without compromising in noise control, pad life, and all around braking performance.
The CT28906R shape fits a variety of high-performance applications, making it a go-to solution for drivers looking for track day brake pads that match their skill level and intensity.
Carbotech CT28906R Brake Pad Highlights
Multiple compounds available to match driving style and track conditions

Yes, many drivers use a more aggressive compound in the front (e.g., XP12) and a slightly less aggressive one in the rear (e.g., XP10) to fine-tune balance.
4. Are Carbotech pads hard on rotors?
No. All Carbotech compounds are known for being rotor-friendly, helping reduce rotor wear and operating costs.
5. Which compound is best for endurance racing?
RP2 is engineered specifically for long-distance events where pad and rotor life are just as important as torque output.
6. Do Carbotech pads require special bedding procedures?
Yes. A proper bedding-in process is critical for optimal performance. Carbotech provides detailed bedding instructions with every set of pads.
Carbotech Brake Pad Bedding Procedures
The bedding process transfers friction material from the pads into the pores of the brake rotor. It also matches the microscopic contours of the pads and rotors to increase surface contact. Proper bedding of pads & rotors will result in greater performance, longer pad life & less rotor wear. Failure to properly bed in your pads could lead to friction materials chunking and breaking up. This could also lead to overheating your pads and causing them to glaze over resulting in the car not being able to stop or slow fast enough.
All new brake pads require a bedding process. The proper way to bed your brake pads and brake discs (rotors) is to bed them on the racetrack, NOT on the street. Start this process by pumping your brakes a few times to assure proper installation. Once on track perform several moderate (medium) near stops (to a very slow rolling speed) to thoroughly warm up the pads and rotors. This should take 1-2 laps. This allows a thin layer of the pad material to be transferred into the micro-grooves of the rotor.
After the pads/rotors are warm, perform a series of hard near stops (to a slow rolling speed) until some brake fade is felt. This process should take about 2-4 laps (depending on the track). Once this occurs, then stay off the brakes (as much as possible) and bring your car into the pits/paddock to completely cool. Do not lock the tires during this operation.
Allow brake pads and/or rotors cool down to ambient temperatures; no less than 30 minutes. The total bedding procedure should not take more than 5-6 laps or about 10-15 minutes. Failure to properly bed in your pads could cause friction material to chunk and break up resulting in poor pad performance and pad life. Improper bedding can also lead to overheating your pads and causing them to glaze over, resulting in the car not being able to stop or slow properly.
