Girodisc D1-220 Replacement Rotor Rings (400mm) Girodisc replacement rotor rings are direct replacements for the iron discs on your Girodisc A1-220 400mm two-piece rotors, with no modifications necessary. New cap screws and washers are included with these replacement rotors. We do not recommend re-using the old hardware. (This kit is contains two cast-iron discs and associated hardware. No aluminum center hat.) The replacement rotor rings and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. IPD Intake Plenum for Porsche 997.2 Turbo/Turbo S The incredible 997.2 Porsche Turbo and Turbo S received a completely redesigned engine with many substantial upgrades. At the time, they were the most powerful, revolutionary, and capable Porsche Turbos ever to come out of Stuttgart. The 997.2 Porsche Turbo may have been labeled a "facelift" but the engine was a major evolutionary leap forward in Porsche's coveted Turbo history. This seventh-generation Turbo engine, titled the 9A1, delivers 500 HP (530 HP in the "S") in stock trim. The 997.2 IPD Turbo plenum was considerably more difficult to design and develop than previous plenums. The good news is that all these efforts yielded a much easier installation process than previous Turbo plenums. The IPD 997.2 Turbo plenum is offered in a single version that utilizes the factory 74mm throttle body. The 997.2 Turbo intake manifolds are smaller than the 997.1 Turbo manifolds, which is great for improved boost response and gas mileage but less than ideal for making substantial power gains. The 74mm TB provides more than adequate flow for these more restrictive intake runners eliminating the need for a larger 82mm Competition version. The already explosive power of the 997.2 Turbo can be further increased with the new 997.2 Turbo IPD intake plenum. The patented IPD plenum design works exceptionally well with all forced induction applications, and the 997.2 Turbo is no exception. Power and torque increases provided by the IPD plenum are impressive and stay well above all factory power curves from launch to redline. Maximum power increases take place in the midrange where it's most needed and most enjoyed. The IPD 997.2 Turbo Plenum delivers smooth, linear power with considerably quicker boost response creating a broader, more desirable power band. The Turbo plenum gives reliable performance for both street and motorsport applications, enhancing the already visceral Porsche Turbo driving experience. Porsche's 997.2 Turbo ECU requires an adaptation period that can be fully realized with either a series of hard pulls on the dyno or a series of spirited driving sessions (which, of course, IPD recommends only be performed on a closed course circuit). The DFI Porsche engine package is a finely-tuned performance machine and additional power has proved difficult to find. The unique design of Porsche’s new DFI intake system posed challenging tuning hurdles but once again IPD developed a design that out-performs the factory intake system without compromising reliability and drive-ability. This innovative and revolutionary IPD DFI Intake Plenum employs the patented “Y” design as well as an enlarged plenum area that allows for improved intake air speed and velocity resulting in increased performance. The all new specifically designed IPD 3.6L DFI Intake Plenum is a direct bolt-on upgrade that replaces the factory air intake distributor and utilizes all pre-existing factory hardware and throttle body. The improved IPD intake design allows for smoother, less turbulent and more efficient air flow resulting in impressive power and torque gains for Porsche driving enthusiasts. The superior design of the DFI IPD Plenum provides an additional 14 HP at the wheels. Unlike previous naturally-aspirated IPD plenums that delivered stronger gains in the mid range, the new IPD DFI Plenums deliver a similar shaped power curve as the factory which is considerably stronger from the mid-RPMs to redline without any loses in power down low. This latest generation Turbo engine, titled the 9A1, delivers 520 HP (560 HP with the "S") and once again, raises the proverbial performance bar in the sports car world. The new 991 IPD Turbo Plenum is nearly identical to the previous 997.2 Turbo Plenums. The new IPD Turbo Plenum is offered in one single 74mm version which utilizes the factory 74mm throttle body. The 991 Turbo intake manifolds are smaller than the 997.1 Turbo manifolds which is great for improved boost response and gas mileage but less than ideal for making substantial power gains. The 74mm TB provides more than adequate flow for these more restrictive intake runners eliminating the need for a larger 82mm "Competition" version. The already explosive power of the 991 Turbo can be further increased with the new 991 Turbo IPD Intake Plenum. The patented IPD Plenum design works exceptionally well with all forced induction applications and the 991 Turbo is no exception. Power and torque increases provided by the IPD plenum are impressive and stay well above all factory power curves from launch to redline. Maximum power increases take place in the midrange where it's most needed, most critical and most enjoyed. The 991 Turbo plenums deliver smooth and linear power with considerably quicker boost response creating a longer and more desirable power band. The Turbo plenums deliver reliable performance for both street and motorsport applications enhancing the already visceral Porsche Turbo driving experience. The 991 Turbo requires an "adaptation" period that can be fully realized with either a series of hard pulls on the dyno or a series of spirited driving sessions, which of course IPD recommends only be performed on a closed course circuit. We recommend nstallation of all Turbo Plenums be performed by qualified and trained Porsche technicians.

The GiroDisc replacement rotor system is a direct rotor disc replacement for the Giro Disc 2-piece hat and rotor and no modifications are necessary.   The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement to minimize replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/Priced per pair.
