No modifications are necessary, the Girodisc rotors will bolt directly to your Mercedes Benz and work with the original calipers without issue.  We recommend Pagid racing brake pads for this Girodisc system, in either RS29 (endurance) or RS14 (sprint) compound. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is made from cast iron to the same specification and material as used by professional racing organizations. It is a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed. When used with Pagid pads and high-temp racing brake fluid, you have a truly amazing, race-proven solution for your Mercedes Benz.

It is basically the MXS 1.3 without the datalogging function. The MXS 1.3 Strada features a compact 5" High Contrast TFT color screen with great visual impact, configurable to show lap times, RPM, and a huge range of info coming from your Engine Control Unit, analog/digital inputs, pre-defined math channels and an optional GPS08 Module. Programmable multicolor shift and alarm LEDs round out an incredibly powerful package. There's even a version with "Street Icon" LEDs instead of the traditional "plain" LEDs! Fits Lamborghini Murcielago Late (2005-2010) These Girodisc iron rotors are a direct replacement for the OE brake discs with no modifications. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements, as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory brake bias and ABS effectiveness are maintained. These Girodisc front rotors are approx 18.2 lbs vs. 22.0 lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration, stronger braking, and sharper suspension response The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved-vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc. The disc and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the US by Girodisc and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the loads from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured by class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise springs on the disc side, allowing the iron disc to expand as it heats up while eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the brake pads. Once the Girodisc system is in place, you simply replace the cast iron discs when needed. This reduces cost over time by allowing you to re-use the aluminum central hats. Sold/priced per pair

A1-145 Girodisc Two-Piece Front Brake Rotors FITMENT: Chevy Corvette Z06/Z07 (C7), Front w/ OEM CCM Iron Rotor Conversion The A1-145 Girodisc system is a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination that directly replaces the fragile and expensive front ceramic brake rotors on the C7 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package1. Upgrading your brakes with these lightweight, high-performance replacements is an excellent solution to the expensive, fragile ceramic rotors on the C7 Corvette Z06 w/Z07 package. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance. Sold/priced per pair. 1 Note: These Girodisc rotors have a different annulus (pad swept area) than the OEM CCM rotors, to maintain their light weight. A brake pad with an annulus of 66mm or less must be used with these Girodisc rotors. We recommend using the Cobalt C7 Z07 racing brake pads with this system.
