RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. PAGID Racing RSL compounds are developed to comply with the latest requirements in endurance racing and meet or surpass all current ecological standards of the automotive industry.
PAGID RSL 1 COMPOUND
Pagid RSL 1 has a high ceramic content with superior thermal insulation and higher heat resistance than metallic pad compounds. They feature excellent pad wear under endurance conditions, excellent rotor life, and are less aggressive than RST pads with excellent brake balance and modulation. RSL 1E and RSL 1 are low metallic resin bonded materials containing steel and aramid fibers RSL 1E is perfect as front axle application for long endurance GT and touring car racing. with very high heat resistance. They maintain a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Their reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make these materials appropriate for endurance races. RSL 1E is further improved in terms of pad life and modulation as well as friction stability at high temperatures and pad life. As a benefit, RSL 1E provides the lowest pad wear rate in the PAGID Racing portfolio for highly thermally loaded applications. PAGID Racing RSL compounds are developed to comply with the latest requirements in endurance racing and meet or surpass all current ecological standards of the automotive industry.
PAGID RST 1 COMPOUND
Pagid RST 1 is a high-friction, aggressive pad with instant pedal response, quick release, a firm pedal at all temperatures, and a progressive torque curve. Suitable for applications with high down-force and/or very high grip. RST 1 has a very high friction level and high temperature resistance. It is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. Cold friction and initial bite makes this material most appropriate for Rally and NASCAR applications.
PAGID RST 3 COMPOUND
Pagid RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family.
RST 3 is exceptional in its low heat conductivity. Ideal for rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, Touring Cars, prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. It has a wide range of applications due to its combination of bite, friction and controllability.
PAGID RST 5E COMPOUND
Specifically designed and developed for high friction level sprint applications where an extreme thermal stability is demanded. Comes for a variety of different pad shapes established in GT racing front axles, Touring car front axles, rally sports, especially FIA Rally3, Rally2, Rally1, and RX Rallycross categories. Its enhanced fade resistance as well as the highest initial bite and friction level of the PAGID Racing compound portfolio make it suitable for thermally high-loaded applications, and make the RST 5E a top-end sprint equipment in terms of performance. Due to its OTM feature, the generated heat remains in the brake pad and is not transmitted into the brake fluid. RST 5E delivers the ideal balance between maximum performance and modulation.

The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake discs. The two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.
By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and Competition Motorsport RF1 racing brake fluid, you have an unbeatable solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron, constructed in the USA and made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer braking loads while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The pins are secured by Grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers .
