The Stilo ST5 KRT (Kart) Helmet turn heads with style that closely resembles the top of the range ST5 Zero helmet used by many professional racing athletes worldwide.
The ST5 Kart is manufactured in a lightweight and very strong composite material and is currently available in white. As with every Stilo helmet, the focus is on safety, comfort and function.
The ST5 Kart helmet’s interior has an excellent fit and comfort level due to its dual density interior foam lining. From the first use, karters will truly appreciate the level of comfort it offers.Â
The ST5 Kart's symmetrical visor offers excellent vision and an effortless central visor locking system that karters will appreciate. The centrally located locking system has dual opening positions allowing adjustment for the visor to be slightly open for extra airflow as preferred by some karters in damp conditions or left completely sealed, but more importantly in both of these positions the visor is locked and will never fly open. The Stilo ST5 Kart Helmet arrives with a 3mm thick FIA F1 standard visor - adding a dramatic improvement in safety. Offered in a large range of different finishes and tints, including colored iridium options that have been added for a totally bespoke finish. In addition a double glazed option is available for racing in wet and cold conditions to prevent misting up.
EPS cheek pads provide the best in lateral crash safety, while retaining the functionality of the earmuffs to provide a comfortable aural environment for communication. Available in gloss white exterior finish, the ST5 Kart is homologated to the Snell K 2020 standard.

RSL 29:
The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races.
Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications.
This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures.
Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

Typical applications include professional endurance racing, club racing, and HPDE on high braking demand platforms.
RACING PAD NOTES:
Running a "racing use only" pad on the street could produce excessive noise and dust.
Rotor wear could be accelerated if driven at consistently cold temperatures or used in the incorrect temperature range.
Racing pads are designed to work in specific temperature ranges so it's important to choose the right compound for the environment the vehicle will be used in.
Pad compounds are tested on a brake dynamometer over repeated brake applications to test the materials in a controlled environment. Real-world wear rates and temperatures will be influenced by car setup, grip levels, track layout and other variables.
