AiM Sports GPS09 Module The GPS09 module from AiM further expands the track mapping abilities of AiM data loggers and dash loggers. In addition, the GPS09 allows lap timing (even split times) without the use of trackside beacons, storing data for up to 50 tracks with up to 5 splits per track. The GPS09 can also calculate and log speed, lateral and longitudinal g-forces, and of course vehicle position.The GPS09 is the latest version, boasting a quicker 25 Hz sampling rate (up from 10 Hz) and positional accuracy to less than one foot (down from 2 meters). It also takes full advantage of Race Studio 3's integration of GPS, video, and data. AiM MyChron Expansion Channel Multiplier The AiM MyChron Expansion is an add-on for the MyChron or MyChron6 Kart Racing Data Logging Dash. It plugs into the CAN expansion port on your MyChron dash to expand its capabilities. The AiM Expansion has a single CAN expansion port plus four additional sensor inputs. All four inputs can accept common karting sensors (brake/throttle pedal position, temperature, steering angle, etc.). One of the four inputs can accept a speed sensor instead. Requires an external 12-volt power source such as your kart's battery. The MyChron Expansion channel multiplier improves MyChron6 and MyChron6 2T (and also MyChron5 and MyChron5 2T) performance, thanks to four additional channels and a further CAN bus connector. Through this last connector, the systems can be connected to LCU-One Lambda controller and SmartyCam HD (and to GPS and Data key for MyChron4 systems). Thanks to its specific wiring, MyChron Expansion powers the systems and their peripherals with an external battery, avoiding internal battery consumption. AiM Sports TC Thermocouple Multiplier Hub The AiM TC Hub lets you simply your sensor wiring, allowing the various sensors to plug into the hub with a single cable routed back to the logger. Additionally, the TC Hub has four temperature inputs labelled TEMP 1, TEMP 2, TEMP 3 and TEMP 4, giving you a wide range of different operating temps you can monitor. It communicates with AiM data-loggers by using a CAN network and supports K-Type thermocouples only. Available sensors for the TC Hub include EGT (exhaust gas temp), M5 Water/Oil Temperature Sensor and the M10 Water/Oil Temperature Sensor for cars. AiM ECU Bridge with RS232 / CAN Wiring Connecting to the ECU allows the AiM unit access to data collected by your ECU (RPM, road speed, coolant temperature, and throttle position are typical; many ECUs offer much more information). AiM Sports KA 50 psi Boost/Vacuum (Absolute Pressure) Sensor This absolute pressure sensor is ideal for measuring vapor (gas) pressures, from intake boost to crankcase pressure. The 50 psi pressure range is based on perfect vacuum (i.e., from 15 psi below atmospheric pressure to 35 psi above). This sensor is marked "0-50psiA" to differentiate it from the standard 0-50 psi sensor (marked "0-50psiSG"), which does not measure vacuum. KA pressure sensors are more robust than VDO-style pressure sensors, but they should still be isolated from engine heat and vibration whenever possible.
