Porsche has incorporated super-thin glass into the GT4 RS tailgate to reduce weight. However, this thin, lightweight glass is prone to cracking, even in automatic car washes. To make matters worse, the OEM tailgate glass comes with a staggering price tag of $2,600. In response to this issue, SilverRocket has developed their own HD Lightweight Polycarbonate Glass, which is included in the Dry Carbon Fiber Tailgate package at no additional cost. This innovative solution not only reduces weight but also alleviates concerns about the fragility of the expensive GT4 RS rear glass.
