Girodisc D1-145 Corvette / Camaro 394mm Front Replacement Ring FAQs

Do these rotors fit OEM Z06 or ZL1 hats? No. The D1-145 rings are specifically engineered for Girodisc aluminum hats and cannot be mounted to factory one-piece rotors or carbon-ceramic assemblies.

What pad compounds work best with these rings? For dual-use driving, Pagid RS29 or Ferodo DS2500 pads are recommended. For dedicated track setups, use Pagid RSL1  compounds for higher temperature thresholds.

What torque specs are required for the mounting hardware? Torque each fastener to 12 ft-lbs (16 Nm) using blue Loctite. Recheck torque after the first full heat cycle to confirm proper seating.

Are these rotors directional? Yes. Each ring is labeled for left and right installation — follow the vane direction to maintain optimal airflow and cooling under heavy braking.

Upgrade your Corvette or Camaro’s braking system with Girodisc D1-145 394mm front replacement rings — engineered for endurance, balance, and peak thermal performance on road or circuit.
