The Sparco Victory race suit is the result of over three years of research and development. Sparco has patented a new technology called HOCOTEX® which revolutionizes the way racing suits are made. This new exclusive Sparco technology creates a single layer fabric which has the protection of what is normally achieved by a multi-layer fabric.
The Sparco Victory race suit was the first single layer race suit to pass the SFI 3.2/5 rating. The Victory race suit is both SFI 3.2A/5 and FIA 8856-2000 homologated.
Unprecedented Comfort And Unflappable Style
Thanks to HOCOTEX®, the Victory race suit is twice as breathable as a race suit produced using traditional technology. The use of this thinner fabric allows the Victory race suit to have ultimate flexibility, featuring stretch arm gussets that provide more mobility in a seated driving position.
Improved Fire And Heat Resistance
Traditional racing suits have layers of fabric sewn together with a quilted pattern. The quilting provides air pockets between the layers which expand in a fire, providing thermal protection to the driver.
HOCOTEX® consists of a honeycomb structure of thousands of internal air microcells, giving the wearer even more fire and heat protection. Traditional box quilting creates an average of 300 air chambers in a size 52 suit. Shield Tech is homologated to the newest FIA standard 8856-2018 which provides the highest fire protection. When designing this new line of undergarments, Sparco studied the drivers seating position to ensure ultimate fit and comfort. Strategic weaving of the material produces increased breathability along with articulation.
Shield Tech uses a seamless construction with ultra-soft stretchable material. There are two different woven materials in key areas; thin stretch for comfort and mobility as well as a double perforated panels for increased breathability. The minimal seams are stitched flat with thin specialized thread for added comfort.

The outer-facing portion of the shoe is made from soft suede while the instep is made from smooth, durable leather. The ultra-light outsole construction offers amazingly direct pedal feel, excellent traction, and improved foot protection. A reinforced area on the outer toe-box provides increased wear resistance for those of us who still heel/toe, while the mid-rise rear of the shoe sports a comfortable bellow.
