GiroDisc 1382 Brake Pad Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What’s the difference between the GP40 and GP10 compounds?

The GP40 is a high-bite sprint racing pad for aggressive braking and short sessions. The GP10 is a smoother, longer-wearing compound ideal for street and track day use.

Can I daily drive with GP10 pads?

GP10 is the best compromise between street and track use.

Do I need GiroDisc rotors to use these pads?

Yes, pairing these pads with GiroDisc two-piece rotors is recommended for the best results.

GP10-1382 Brake Pads

GP10 compound is a high-performance street pad which is designed to have a smooth bite and make minimal noise at cold temperatures. Made for us by a friction technology specialist in Japan, it can be taken on track if you truly need a pad that does it all.

Please note that if your car spends more time on track than the street, we would recommend stepping up to a full race pad like our GP40.
