Girodisc A1-268 Front Rotors for Toyota Corolla GR & GR Yaris
$1,478.00
Girodisc A1-268 Front Rotors for Toyota Corolla GR & GR Yaris
Fitment:
Toyota Corolla GR (Front) 2023+
Toyota GR Yaris (Front) 2020+
This Girodisc two-piece rotor set is a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Toyota Corolla GR. Girodisc two-piece, fully floating rotor assemblies help shed unsprung weight and rotating mass from the front axle of the Toyota Corolla GR, while being far more durable in track use.
American Made With Specially Formulated Materials
Girodisc rotor rings are machined from a proprietary casting made of high-carbon steel formulated to Girodisc’s specifications. This superior metallurgy results in a rotor that holds up better, and the 72 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The two-piece design means the reusable hat which can be attached to new rotor rings (part number D1-268) when the latter need to be replaced.
All major components including the hats, rotor rings, and drive pins are manufactured in-house at the Girodisc facility in Bellingham, WA, from domestically-sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and coated in a black anodized finish. The drive pins are made from a high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. All rotors are assembled with spring clips and Belleville washers for race-ready float while also being street-friendly with no noise from loose hardware.
We also recommend replacing them if a crack leads to the edge of the ring.
Sold and priced per pair.

Girodisc Front Caliper Rebuild Kit Porsche 981 Boxster S-Cayman S
$79.00
PORSCHE 981 BOXSTER S/CAYMAN S FRONT CALIPER REBUILD KIT
Track days can be especially hard on the piston seals and dust boots in your brake calipers. Heat, in particular, will do a number on them. (Titanium heat shields behind your pads can help with that.) This kit is put together from the highest-quality components to rebuild a brake caliper back to like-new condition.
One kit is required per caliper (we suggest doing them both as long as you're doing it). Once you rebuild them, get the Ti heat shields as well and lengthen the interval between rebuilds. The shields and seals are available as a kit for convenience (and a bit of savings).
We only source superior quality brake components (brakes for track use are serious business); some kits don't take it as seriously. Any questions give us a call, we're happy to help!

Girodisc
Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields for Corvette C7 / C8 Z07
from $127.00
The problem of brake fluid boiling is simply traced to heat transferring from the rotors and pads directly into the fluid through the caliper pistons. When brake fluid boils, it releases air that is normally part of the molecular structure of the fluid. This air is compressible, of course, and the brake pedal goes to the floor instead of moving the caliper pistons. Production cars tend to suffer from this on track days because they don't have the extensive cooling ducts and exotic brake materials found on racing cars.
Race-only brake calipers generally come with titanium caliper pistons for one reason: titanium has low thermal conductivity. This means it's very bad at transferring heat, which is good if you're trying to keep your brake fluid from boiling. Here's a comparison of materials and their relative thermal conductivity ratings (lower is better):
Titanium 6AL-4V = 6.7 W/mk
Steel = 52 W/mk
Aluminum = 130 W/mk
Most fixed calipers use aluminum pistons which are, unfortunately, excellent at transferring braking heat to your brake fluid. Our solution is to place Girodisc's thin titanium shims between the brake pad and the caliper pistons. This helps prevent braking heat from transferring into the pistons and, thus, into the fluid.
For cars that are going to see hard or multiple track days, these shims are affordable protection from losing your brake pedal at the wrong time and making your track day very expensive.
Water jet cut to exact size; no cutting, grinding, or swearing involved.
Price is per axle (four shims)

PFC has released new V3 disc and hat technology. The advanced design features a patented attachment design that uses a retention ring that holds the hat and disc together.
The ring means no need for torque wrenches, and no hassle. The ability to change a disc quickly and efficiently saves time and effort. As well as being convenient, the new V3 technology is much lighter than previous designs, making it easier to put on and pull off, and making the vehicle lighter.
This V3 disc retention method is based on the use of a two- or three-turn retaining ring, which is held in a groove in the hat that overlaps the disc flanges – effectively locking the disc to the hat.
Reduced mass on disc connecting flanges, which reduces thermal distortion (more specifically, coning) at race temperatures. Reduced coning allows the pads to sit flatter on the disc, which better utilizes the available radial depth. There is better pad force distribution and the brakes will run cooler, reducing hot spots on the disc. This will also have the benefit of reduced taper wear of the pads.
More heat will be contained in the brake faces because there is less of a heat sink in the flanges. This reduces thermal stress at the ID of the disc and reduces the chance of thermal cracking to occur.
Consistent disc float from race beginning to end. As a race progresses with a bobbin disc, float will often be reduced when a bobbin is no longer sitting square in the disc. Reduced float will increase piston knockback, increase pedal travel and add vibration.
Reduced complexity. The number of brake assembly parts is reduced from 38+ for a bobbin drive disc to just 3 in a V3 disc assembly
Decreased assembly time. You can assemble a V3 race disc in a matter of seconds.
