The Stilo ST5.1 GT Composite is Stilo's Snell SA2020 version of their best-selling kevlar-carbon composite helmet. With an autoclave molded shell, the Stilo ST5.1 GT Composite auto racing helmet offers superior safety and protection compared to fiberglass and composites of competitors helmets. You get all this without sacrificing comfort or features, as Stilo continues to focus on minimizing weight and maximizing flexibility.
With its large eye port, the Stilo ST5.1 GT Composite offers unsurpassed peripheral vision and all of the available tinted, mirrored, and iridium-colored visors (sold separately) have a center pinch-clip to make opening and closing easy, even while wearing nomex racing gloves.
Although updated to meet the newest Snell SA2020 certification, the Stilo ST5.1 GT retains its FIA 8858-2015 homologation as well. This makes the helmet legal for nearly all road race usage (although some sanctioning bodies require FIA 8860 homologated helmets.)
Flexibility and Functionality Built In

Its two side ports can be fitted with 3 different types of integrated communication electronics, forced air, helmet eject system, or a hydration system. Industry-standard M6 threaded receivers are molded into the helmet shell to accommodate anchors for whichever head-and-neck restraint you use.
Note: We have found that customers who typically wear a size 59 in other brands are most comfortable in a Stilo size 60, which uses the larger shell. Please order accordingly.

The Sparco helmet line is a result of over 40 years of research and development experience, including wind tunnel testing. The new SPARCO AIR PRO RF-5W range was designed to meet the requirements of the new Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859 ratings. The 2020 type-approval introduces new impact requirements, the helmets need to dissipate large amounts of energy in different ways. To meet these requirements Sparco is introducing new innovations for driver safety and comfort. All shells now have layers of carbon-Kevlar for greater strength. The helmets have also been wind-tunnel tested to maximize exterior vent placement and flow. The EPS interiors and padding have also been redesigned for increased airflow and driver comfort. How Does Sparco Hocotex® Work?
Racing suits are traditionally constructed using multiple layers of fabric sewn together with an embroidered quilted pattern. This quilting creates air pockets between the layers which expand when exposed to extreme heat and flames, creating a thermal protection barrier for the driver. Sparco Hocotex® uses a honeycomb structure with over 60,000 internal air cells, compared to 300 quilted chambers in a traditional suit. The result is a 10% to 12% increase in protection from heat versus the traditional quilting method.

The Bell Racing GT6 Pro auto racing helmet features the same modern and aggressive design as HP6, developed for racers in closed-car environments and featuring a wide eyeport for extended vision with a lightweight Premium carbon glass shell. Its ventilation slots can be connected to various types of air intakes for external cooling systems. It can be fitted with optional ear cups providing optimal noise insulation, with fully integrated radio communication kit and hydration systems (available separately or in GT6 RD Titanium version).
