CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real-Life High Boiling Point Without The Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 328º C (622º F), RF1 exceeds all DOT3 & DOT4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) On the race track, brake systems operate at very high sustained temperatures, and there is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than your brakes. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!

On the rear calipers, the hard line bracket is bolted to the caliper and therefore does not need to be disconnected in order to remove the caliper for a brake pad change. Many of our Porsche customers haven't been thrilled with the quality of currently available options, and have repeatedly asked us to produce a premium quality brake line set that replaces the factory hard lines. We went back to the drawing board, and this product is the result.WHY SIX LINES?As you all know by now, swapping pads or changing discs on these cars can be a real headache, because the front brake calipers are attached via hard, inflexible brake lines. The OEM lines are rigid, shouldn't be bent repeatedly, and don't allow the front caliper to be set aside easily. Our kit replaces the factory soft lines with braided stainless hoses, while also eliminating the hard piping to the front calipers. The rear caliper can be removed with the hardline in place since it is attached to the caliper.WHAT IF I'M RUNNING STUDS INSTEAD OF FACTORY CALIPER BOLTS?Our lines were intentionally designed with aftermarket caliper studs in mind. We added enough length front and rear to allow the caliper to be lifted off of the studs without having to break the hydraulic connection, or even unbolt the brake line from the brake line bracket.
