The Stilo VENTI WRX Raid Carbon Zero Helmet is Stilo's premium full-face rally raid and off-road helmet engineered for drivers and co-drivers competing in demanding closed-vehicle environments. Combining the wide visibility of the VENTI rally platform with the protection of a full-face helmet, the WRX Raid delivers exceptional peripheral vision, lightweight Carbon Zero construction, integrated communications, and FIA 8860-level protection.

Designed specifically for rally raid, off-road racing, SSVs, buggies, and other extreme motorsport applications, the VENTI WRX platform was developed to handle environments where heat, dust, rough terrain, long stages, and constant communication place unique demands on the driver and equipment.

FIA 8860 Carbon Zero Protection

The VENTI WRX Raid Carbon Zero is the highest-performance version of Stilo's WRX Raid platform. The Carbon Zero construction uses a higher-tensile carbon fiber weave and is the WRX configuration intended for competitors who require FIA 8860 homologation.

This premium carbon construction provides the strength required for professional motorsport while controlling helmet weight and overall shell size, making the Carbon Zero an excellent choice for long-duration rally raid and off-road competition.

Purpose-Built for Rally Raid and Closed Vehicles

The WRX Raid is specifically configured for closed-cockpit rally raid and off-road vehicles. Instead of the sealed full visor used on the WRX Dirt, the Raid configuration uses a short peak and an open eyeport designed to work with off-road or motocross-style goggles.

This setup gives drivers the flexibility to choose goggles appropriate for dust, changing light, heat, and demanding desert or trail conditions while maintaining the full-face protection of the WRX helmet platform.

34% Wider Field of View

One of the biggest advantages of the Stilo VENTI WRX is its exceptionally large eyeport. Stilo engineered the WRX to provide a 34% increase in field of view compared with the ST5 helmet range.

The expanded opening improves peripheral visibility and allows the driver to see more of the cockpit, terrain, obstacles, corners, course markers, and surrounding vehicles without excessive head movement.

The eyeport is also large enough to accommodate popular off-road and motocross goggles, making it particularly useful for rally raid and SSV competition.

Goggle-Compatible Raid Design

The VENTI WRX Raid is designed specifically around goggle use. Its large eyeport provides the room needed for off-road goggles while the short peak helps reduce glare and provides additional protection from overhead light and debris.

For racers who prefer a short visor rather than goggles, compatible WRX short visor options are also available, allowing the helmet to be configured around the driver's preferred setup.

High-Tensile Carbon Zero Shell

The standard VENTI WRX Carbon uses a medium-tensile carbon fiber weave, while the Carbon Zero steps up to Stilo's higher-tensile carbon construction.

The result is Stilo's lightest and highest-performing WRX configuration, developed for competitors who want maximum performance from the platform while meeting the requirements of FIA 8860 competition.

Stilo PURO Super Smooth Technology

The WRX Carbon Zero uses Stilo's PURO Super Smooth technology. This construction process creates a high-quality finished carbon surface without requiring a conventional heavy lacquer layer.

Eliminating unnecessary clear coat helps reduce weight and also makes the helmet easier for professional painters to prepare for custom graphics because factory decals are not buried beneath a traditional lacquer finish.

Integrated Rally Communications

The VENTI WRX was engineered around communications from the beginning. The helmet features integrated side ports and comes with Stilo's rally communication equipment, including ear cups and built-in speakers.

The system can connect to compatible Stilo intercoms, while available adapters allow the helmet to be integrated with a variety of other motorsport radio and communication systems.

For driver and co-driver teams, this integrated setup creates a cleaner installation with fewer loose wires and less equipment competing for space inside the helmet.

Pre-Installed HANS Posts

The VENTI WRX comes with HANS/FHR posts pre-installed, allowing the helmet to be used with a compatible Head and Neck Restraint system without requiring separate helmet anchor installation.

Top Ventilation for Long Rally Stages

Top ventilation openings help reduce heat and moisture buildup inside the helmet during long and physically demanding rally stages.

The top ventilation openings are also designed to accommodate the compatible Stilo Short Top Air System, giving drivers the option of adding forced-air cooling when their vehicle setup allows it.

Side Air System Compatibility

The VENTI WRX Raid can also be configured with Stilo's available Side Air system. This gives racers another way to route forced air into the helmet depending on cockpit configuration and available vehicle equipment.

The ability to choose between multiple cooling configurations makes the WRX Raid particularly adaptable for long-duration desert and rally raid competition.

Drinking System Compatibility

Stilo designed the WRX Raid to accommodate an available drinking system, allowing drivers to integrate hydration equipment directly into their race setup.

For endurance-style events such as rally raid and long off-road stages, integrated hydration capability can help reduce distractions and make it easier for drivers to stay hydrated without removing safety equipment.

Three Shell Sizes for a Better Fit

The VENTI WRX platform is manufactured using three shell sizes rather than forcing every helmet size into the same outer shell.

This allows Stilo to keep the exterior dimensions and weight better matched to the driver's actual head size. Interchangeable cheek pads and top pads also allow the interior fit to be fine-tuned for improved comfort and stability.

Designed for Extreme Motorsport Conditions

The WRX platform was developed specifically around the requirements of modern rally raid and off-road competition. Drivers may spend hours dealing with vibration, heat, rough terrain, dust, navigation, communication, and constant changes in visibility.

The combination of a large eyeport, full-face protection, integrated communications, lightweight carbon construction, cooling-system compatibility, and hydration options makes the VENTI WRX Raid particularly well suited to these demanding environments.

VENTI WRX Raid vs. VENTI WRX Dirt

The VENTI WRX Raid and VENTI WRX Dirt share the same wide-vision WRX foundation but are configured for different types of vehicles and racing environments.

The WRX Raid is designed primarily for closed vehicles and uses a short peak with an open, goggle-compatible eyeport. The WRX Dirt is intended primarily for open vehicles and uses a fully sealed full visor to provide increased protection from dirt, dust, mud, and flying debris.

For drivers competing inside an enclosed rally raid vehicle who prefer goggles or the flexibility of a short visor and peak, the WRX Raid is the purpose-built configuration.

VENTI WRX Carbon Zero vs. Carbon

The standard WRX Carbon uses Stilo's medium-tensile carbon fiber weave, while the WRX Carbon Zero uses a higher-tensile carbon construction.

The Carbon Zero is the lightest and highest-performing version of the WRX platform and is the model intended for international competition where FIA 8860 homologation is required.

Why the Wide Eyeport Matters in Rally Raid

Rally raid drivers must process considerably more visual information than a conventional racing line. Terrain changes, navigation markers, obstacles, competitors, cockpit instruments, and course hazards can all require immediate attention.

The VENTI WRX's large eyeport increases peripheral visibility and reduces the amount of head movement required to see the surrounding environment. This is especially useful during technical off-road stages where conditions can change rapidly.

WRX Accessory Compatibility

Stilo developed the WRX as a highly configurable helmet system. Available accessories allow the Raid to be tailored around the driver's vehicle, weather conditions, communication equipment, cooling setup, and personal preferences.

Compatible equipment includes short and extended peaks, short visors in multiple finishes, air systems, drinking systems, communication components, tear-offs, and additional WRX-specific hardware.

Getting the Proper Stilo Helmet Fit

A properly fitted racing helmet should feel firm and even around the entire head without excessive movement or isolated pressure points.

Use a flexible measuring tape around the widest portion of the head, approximately one inch above the eyebrows and around the back of the skull. Take the measurement two or three times and use the largest consistent measurement when comparing your head circumference with the Stilo helmet sizing chart.

How to Properly Measure your head for Stilo Helmet

The most effective helmet is one that fits properly. To measure your head, have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head. Start at a point about an inch above your eyebrows, looping around the back of your head at the point that results in the largest measurement, and finally around to the front again. It's a good idea to take two or three measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
