The Shield RW-9 line of Nomex underwear provides the highest level of breathability, comfort and protection. When designing this line, Sparco studied the driver's sitting position to ensure ultimate fit and comfort. Shield RW-9 uses a seamless construction with ultra-soft stretchable material. There are two different woven materials in key areas; thin stretch Nomex for comfort and mobility as well as a double perforated Nomex for increased breathability and ultimate comfort.
The minimal seams are stitched flat with thin specialized thread for added comfort. All Shield RW-9 pieces are treated with Sparco X-Cool Silver which draws heat from the body surface to cool the driver. In addition to cooling the driver, X-Cool Silver treatment has an anti-bacterial effect. The Shield RW-9 collection has pieces to fit every driver's style, including short-sleeved nomex t-shirts, long-sleeved nomex shirts, nomex pants, nomex balaclava, and nomex socks.

The Sparco Pit Stop shoe was designed specifically for pit crew use but it can also be used for racing where a durable and thicker sole is preferred such as off-road. The Pit Stop shoe is SFI approved for racing or “over the wall” crew use. The Pit Stop has a suede upper with a perforated tongue and heel for added breathability and it has leather panels on the toe box and heel for extra durability.
The anti-static, fuel- and oil-resistant rubber sole was designed for maximum grip, with a toe cap designed to protect the toe area when in the kneeling position. Internal lace system to help protect from snagging. The Pit Stop has an extra padded collar area with a Velcro closure which gives extra support. The internal foot bed has a special cushioned insole that gives maximum comfort. The Sparco Pit Stop shoe is available in black in US sizes 7-1/2 to 15.

Since 2019, the most stringent FIA 8860-2018 ABP (Advanced Ballistic Protection) helmet standard has been in effect for Formula 1. This latest standard builds frontal penetration protection into the helmet shell. The New FIA standard drove Stilo engineers to design and develop the Stilo ST5 FN FIA8860-2018 ABP, along with this new shield design. While looking very similar to the standard Stilo ST5 shield, there is a slight shape difference and overall height difference.

Stilo Anti-fog/anti-scratch shields require special care. Only use Stilo Shield Cleaner (Acrysol). Do not use Windex or other glass cleaner containing ammonia as this can harm the anti-scratch coating on the outside of the shield and the anti-fog coating on the inside.
