These Girodisc A1-322 2-piece rotors directly replace the 400 mm carbon-ceramic (CCB) front rotors on the BMW G8X M3 & M4. The fully floating design reuses the factory CCB calipers and requires no permanent modifications—just swap rotors and run the factory iron pad shape for the calipers.

Vehicle Fitment

  • BMW G80/G81 M3 with CCB – Front
  • BMW G82/G83 M4 with CCB – Front

400 mm Iron, Built to Run Cool

High-carbon iron rings with curved internal vanes pull cooling air through the disc for stable performance under repeated hard stops. Reusable 6061-T6 aluminum hats and cadmium-plated hardware control thermal growth and keep noise down in street use.

Features

  • Direct CCB-to-iron conversion; no coding or bracket changes
  • 2-piece floating construction reduces unsprung/rotational mass
  • Curved-vane rings for strong airflow and heat rejection
  • Reusable aluminum hats; new hardware included
  • Manufactured and assembled in Bellingham, WA
  • Sold/priced per pair

A1-322 FAQs

Do I change calipers? No. These rotors are designed to run with the OEM CCB calipers.

Which pads do I use? Use the factory iron pad shape for the G8X CCB calipers (not the carbon-ceramic pads).

Any coding needed? No — critical dimensions match CCB spec, so ABS/DSC calibration remains correct.

Wheel clearance vs. CCB? Rotor envelope matches the 400 mm CCB setup, so wheel clearance is unchanged.

Front replacement ring part number? D1-220 400 mm front rings.
