Keep Your Stilo ST5 & ST6 Helmet Ventilated With The Stilo Top Air Kit
Fresh air keeps you cool and keeps sweat from getting in your eyes as you take the checkered flag. Endurance racers keep their focus high and lap times low by staying in the cool zone.
This unique cooling system feeds air from your car’s fresh air system to both the top of your head and to the front of your face, while at the same time helping keep the inside of your visor clear. This system integrates into the existing design of the ST5 & ST6 helmet and does not require any drilling of the shell or modifications to the internal EPS foam.
There are four small ventilation holes molded into the top of every ST5 helmet. Stilo's Top Air system fits over the forward two holes and extends down the front of the helmet and just under the top of the visor. Air fed into the Top Air is directed both to the top of the head and down over the face. A small deflector just inside the visor area directs air towards the visor and away from the eyes. Old air flows out of the rear holes on the top of the helmet and from the bottom of the helmet, significantly reducing CO2 buildup in the helmet.
This Stilo Top Air System can be fitted to all Stilo ST5 & ST6 model helmets. It comes in two sizes to best fit your helmet:

Protect your stilo ST5 helmet shield from rocks, dirt, and debris with these 4 mil (0.1 mm) thick tear-offs. Measuring 4/1000th of an inch thick (the most popular thickness for open-cockpit and harsh environment racers), these tear-offs are perfect for road racing and dirt track use.
The perimeter seal system used in these tear-offs provides a tighter fit against your Stilo ST5 visor, preventing dirt, dust, and water from getting between the visor and tear-off stack. This package of 4 mil tear-offs consists of three stacks of three tear-offs each, for nine tear-offs total.
Now you can greatly extend the life of your Stilo ST5 shield by drastically reducing pitting and scratches.

These Stilo visors are a great way to add some color to your racing life! Stilo offers a wide variety of shield options including many popular iridium colors. All Stilo shields have an anti-fog and anti-scratch coating and are made for a perfect fit on your Stilo ST5 helmet (both the GT and N "naked" versions)1.
A Note on Cleaning Anti-Fog/Anti-Scratch Shield
Anti-scratch/anti-fog shields require special care in order to preserve the coatings on the inside of the shield. Only use Acrysol Shield Cleaner to clean your shield, inside and out. Do not use glass cleaner containing ammonia (like Windex) as this can harm both the anti-scratch coating on the outside of the visor and the anti-fog coating on the inside. In a pinch, you're better off using water and a clean microfiber cloth to gently clean your Stilo shield.
