GiroDisc Racing Brakes & Technologies A1-032 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (OEM PCCB) $1,925.00
A1-032 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (OEM Porsche PCCB) FITS THE FOLLOWING CARS: Porsche 981 Boxster/Cayman (w/ OEM PCCB) Porsche 991 Carrera (w/ OEM PCCB) Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products. As one of the largest stocking dealers in the country, we ship most products the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. This Girodisc system upgrades your Porsche 981 or 991 equipped with factory PCCB brakes to a 350mm two-piece steel disc and aluminum hat. This two-piece floating rotor design will bolt directly to your Porsche front and work flawlessly with the OEM calipers. Upgrading your brakes to lightweight, high-performance Girodisc rotors, you maintain the factory brake bias and ABS effectiveness. Girodisc rotors maintain the low rotational and unsprung mass of your PCCB rotors while being far more durable -- particularly when swapping wheels on and off at the race track. Combined with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Competition Motorsport RF-1 racing brake fluid, Girodisc rotors are the ultimate solution to overheated, cracked, warped rotors that result from high-performance driving. The central hat of the rotor is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured in the USA from the same cast iron used by professional racing organizations. Its curved-vane design, developed in racing, acts like a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc. The disc and hat mount together through a floating mount system using ten cadmium plated, high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc. These drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to allow for heat expansion. Anti-noise spring washers eliminate the noise typically associated with floating rotors. This two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement, reusing the hat to minimize maintenance costs. Sold/priced per pair.

CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml)
CMS Performance CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) from $36.00
CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid Real Life 622º Boiling Point Without the Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 622º F / 328º C, RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & DOT 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 fluids. Note: RF1, like all DOT 4 brake fluids, is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone-based or any mineral-based brake fluids. On the race track, there is perhaps no single safety system more important than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid, given the extraordinarily high temperatures it operates under. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. We found more than a few brands whose product was all hype and not high performance. No Hype. All Performance. No Kidding. So we did something about it. CMS Performance RF1 is manufactured in partnership with Orthene, maker of the also-excellent Halo P1 racing brake fluid and a brake fluid supplier to many racing teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series. RF1 was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend a lot more on brake fluid, but it's hard to find higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Manufacturer: CMS Performance Manufacturer part no.: CMSRF1 Typical dry boiling point: 622º F / 328º C Typical wet boiling point: 399º F / 204º C Exceeds DOT 3 & DOT 4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl. oz.) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!

RSL 29 Compound: The Pagid RSL 29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. Pagid RSC 1 Compound (Ceramic Rotors Only) A race and track day compound for all known types of ceramic brake discs, RSC 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. This material features good all-round characteristics and is suitable for all types of usage. Pagid RSC 3 Compound (Ceramic Rotors Only) RSC 3 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. This material is specifically developed for above mentioned applications. It is a special race compound for ceramic discs with low content of fibers in the friction surface for sprint and endurance circuit racing. Pagid RSL 1 Compound Used in GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the high friction and good modulation, often used in sprint races as well. RSL 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races. Pagid RST 1 Compound Used in Rally tarmac, GT cars and touring cars circuit racing (sprint), high down-force formula cars, NASCAR. Suitable for applications in heavy cars and where high torque is necessary against small diameter rotors. RST 1 has a very high friction level and high temperature resistance. It is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. Cold friction and initial bite makes this material most appropriate for Rally and NASCAR applications. Pagid RST 3 Compound: RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family. It captivates by its low heat conductivity. Rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, touring cars and prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. Wide range of applications due to it‘s combination of bite, friction and controllability.

GiroDisc 1389 Front Racing Brake Pads  A race pad for all occasions. Our GP35 compound combines the best of both worlds into one all-around race pad. We took some of the longevity of our endurance pads, some of the bite of our sprint pads, and worked to develop a compound that can do it all. As a bonus, it’s easy to bed, which means less time figuring your brakes out, and more time driving on the track. The GP35 is designed to work with street car ABS as well as motorsport-grade ABS found in factory-built race cars. The torque curve is designed to be smooth and linear, which leads to superior modulation and release under trail braking. These pads work with a wide range of tires, from DOT street tires to R-compounds to full race slicks. It has become our most popular compound and is the compound we recommend most frequently to track day drivers and shops running cars in professional racing series. Note: this compound is only compatible with iron rotors.
