RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.

RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. RS 44: A Carbon based friction material developed from RS4-2 but with a progressively increasing friction curve, giving it lower friction than RS4-2 below 300°c and higher friction above 300°c. It offers slightly less initial bite and low temperature response than RS4-2, but with the same high levels of controllability. The wear rate of RS4-4 is very similar to RS4- 2, but is slightly better in terms of wear at higher temperatures. Disc wear as with all other PAGID materials is exceptional and thermal stressing and tension cracks of the disc surface are greatly reduced. RS4-4 also has extended operating temperature limits, increasing fade resistance, and allowing braking deeper into the corner without wheel lock and fading issues. This compound is available in fewer pad shapes than RS4-2, and is particularly popular in Porsche club racing, and has been fitted as an OEM on such high performance road vehicles as Porsche 993 RS and GT2 for example. In road applications this compound exhibits low brake noise. A very versatile pad for use on both front and rear axle’s, is also a very good rear pad in conjunction with RS14 / RS15 on front axles of front wheel drive touring cars, etc.

RS 14: Outside the track day environment, RS14 has shown success in short- to medium-distance circuit racing as well as gravel and tarmac rallying. RS14 offers very low heat conductivity, resulting in lower caliper and brake fluid temperatures. RS14 offers consistent levels of performance and much longer life than competitors' products without excessive rotor wear, offering the driver supreme confidence. The PAGID RS14 (Black) is a high-friction-value ceramic compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a constant temperature of 1,200°F (650°C). It's kind on rotors, with visible grooving but no tendency to crack them. RS14 is our most popular ceramic-based friction material. It will tolerate much higher working disc temperatures than PAGID RS4-2, extending fade resistance. RS14 is used as an OEM material and supplied as an upgraded track day pad by Lotus Motorsport. It has been shown to exhibit optimum levels of braking force, control and modulation on popular track-day cars such as the Lotus Elise and Caterham 7.  RSL 29: Designed primarily for endurance racing, due to consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track-day market due to the high level of control, good cold performance, long life, and low rotor wear. The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  Based on the RS14, a slight reduction of the friction value improves modulation and longevity. The friction value remains high enough for cars without power-assisted brake systems, ensuring low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 1,100°F (600°C) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability, and low wear rates on pads and rotors is unmatched. RSL 1:  PAGID RSL1 racing compounds are complex formulations with very high content of ceramic materials. The difference to competitors metallic compounds is the superior thermal insulation and the higher heat resistance of ceramic compared to iron. Ceramic has a very low heat conductivity, so less brake disc temperature goes through the pad to the caliper. Pagid have measured up to 140 degrees farenheit difference in temperature compared to competitor pads. RST 1: PAGID RST1 High average friction, aggressive in stop behavior with instant pedal response and release, consistently firm pedal at all temperatures, fade resistant at highest disc temperatures.  High friction compound with very good initial bite and a progressive torque curve. Very fade resistant.  Suitable for applications with high down-force and / or very high grip.  RST 3: RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family. It captivates by its low heat conductivity. Popular applications of the RST 3 compound include rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, Touring cars and prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. Wide range of applications due to it‘s combination of bite, friction and controllability.   Pagid RSL brake pads were developed to comply with the latest requirements in endurance racing and to accord to ecological standards in the automotive industry. They feature excellent pad wear under endurance conditions, excellent disc life, are less aggressive than RST pads giving best possible brake balance, modulation and consistency of friction under endurance conditions.
