The main roll hoop is X-braced and features a cross bar for mounting racing harness shoulder straps.

CMS Performance features uniquely designed three-piece rear kickers that bolt to the Porsche 992 GT3/GT3RS rear shock towers (where the factory GT3 Cup Car roll cage mounts). The safest, strongest mounting points, this adds rigidity to the chassis and suspension. The three-piece kicker design is incredibly strong while also being a breeze to install (vs. the typical one-piece design that is usually a nightmare to install). The main roll hoop is mounted to Porsche's steel frame structure beneath the vehicle just like the factory Cup Car cage.

The CMS Performance Roll Bar for the Porsche 991 GT3, GT3RS, and GT2RS is designed to locate your racing harness shoulder straps at precisely the right angle (0° to -20° front-to-back) and distance (as close as possible, not more than eight inches) to the driver and passenger, regardless of your seat position. Our use of high-tech Docol R8 tubing and main-hoop cross bracing gives you an unobstructed rear view without the need for more extensive braces that roll bars made of Chromoly or mild steel have to use.
CMS Performance designed the rear kickers of the Porsche 991 Roll Bar to bolt to the rear shock towers (same as the factory GT3 Cup roll cage). Using the strongest mounting points adds rigidity to the chassis and suspension to improve handling precision. The CMS Performance main roll hoop is mounted to the steel sub-structure beneath the vehicle just like the factory cage.

Complete, detailed instructions make installation pretty simple (figure about two hours if you're reasonably handy; having a buddy helps!) All the supplied installation hardware is American made: Grade 8 mounting hardware and an industrial carbide drill bit. So you don't have worry that you don't have what you need for a flawless installation.
You can add six-point or four-point harnesses to your order to take full advantage of the safety upgrade your roll bar represents. The CMS Performance Sub Strap + Lap Belt Mount makes securely installing your racing harnesses easy. Check out the drop-downs above.
Many customers also add CMS Locking Harness Collars to keep harness shoulder straps right where you want them (they're not required for safety, but a lot of people like the look.)

Based on CAE stress analysis, multiple layers of uni-directional carbon fiber cloths are laid in a proprietary direction during the manufacturing process against the impact force direction to achieve optimal strength and rigidity at specific angles.
The SilverRocket Carbon Fiber Roll Cage, equipped with a racing harness, meets the latest FIA safety standards. It supports up to 30 kN of pulling force, with the harness bar positioned at the optimal height to achieve a 0° to -20° harness angle, in accordance with FIA regulations.
