Girodisc D1-066 380x34mm Front Ring FAQs

Can these rotors fit OEM performance systems? No. These are designed for Girodisc two-piece aluminum hats and are not compatible with OEM or other aftermarket cast rotor assemblies.

What pad compounds are recommended? For dual-use street and track driving, Ferodo DS1.11 or Pagid RS29 pads are ideal. For endurance racing, Pagid RSL1 provide exceptional high-temperature stability.

Do these require a specific bedding procedure? Yes. Perform 8–10 medium stops from 60 mph, then allow the brakes to cool fully. This ensures proper pad transfer and optimal rotor surface conditioning.

What torque should I apply to the floating hardware? Tighten all bolts to 12 ft-lbs (16 Nm) using blue Loctite. Recheck torque after one full heat cycle to confirm secure float and alignment.

Keep your braking system race-ready with Girodisc D1-066 380x34mm front replacement rings — engineered for precision, endurance, and superior heat control on street or circuit.
