Girodisc Ford S197 Mustang GT500 ('13-14) Rear Rotors

These Girodisc 2-piece floating rear rotors are a direct replacement for the 2013–2014 Ford Mustang GT500 with the 5.8L engine and 350mm rear rotors. Designed for high-performance driving and track use, this upgrade offers superior cooling efficiency, reduced weight, and improved durability over factory components.
Each assembly features a thicker 22mm rotor ring compared to the factory 19mm setup, providing enhanced heat capacity without requiring any modifications. The fully floating design reduces unsprung and rotational mass, improving suspension response and braking consistency under heavy use.
Race-Inspired Design and Materials
Each rotor ring is machined from Girodisc’s proprietary high-carbon iron alloy, engineered for superior thermal stability and resistance to cracking under repeated heat cycles. The 48 curved directional vanes function as internal air pumps, drawing cooling air through the center to effectively dissipate heat during braking.
The hat is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating for corrosion protection and weight reduction. The floating system employs cadmium-plated steel drive pins, Belleville washers, and spring clips to ensure quiet operation and proper axial/radial float—ideal for both street and track use.

FAQs for Girodisc A2-091
Will these fit my non-GT500 Mustang? These are designed for the 2013–2014 GT500 5.8L. They can be retrofitted to other S197 Mustangs if upgraded to the 350mm rear brake configuration.
Do these require any modifications? No modifications are needed on the 2013–2014 GT500. For retrofits, ensure you have the correct calipers, brackets, and hardware.
Are they rebuildable? Yes. The rotor rings can be replaced using Girodisc part number D2-091 once they reach minimum thickness or show wear.
Will they make noise during normal driving? No. The Belleville washers and spring clips maintain tight hardware alignment to eliminate rattling, even during street use.
Upgrade your GT500’s braking performance with Girodisc’s precision-engineered 2-piece floating rotors—trusted by racers and performance drivers for their reliability, cooling capacity, and long-term durability.
