A2-179 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors
Girodisc A2-179 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors $950.00
Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products. As one of the largest stocking dealers in the country, we ship most Girodisc products the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc, no modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc front rotors are approx. 13.0 lbs vs. 15.3 lbs for the stock units, this reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly USA-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved-vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc. The disc and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the US by Girodisc and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the loads from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured by class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise springs on the disc side, allowing the iron disc to expand as it heats up while eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the brake pads. Once the Girodisc system is in place, you simply replace the cast iron discs when needed. This reduces cost over time by allowing you to re-use the aluminum central hats. Sold/priced per pair

FITMENT (FRONT): Audi 8S TTRS (2014-Present) Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country.  We ship most Girodisc systems the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc front rotors are approx 22.0lbs vs. 27.4lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc.  The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed. Sold/priced per pair. When used with Pagid 8081 pads and high-temp racing brake fluid, you have a truly amazing, race-proven solution to the fragile, ultra-expensive carbon-ceramic rotors on your McLaren.

Girodisc A1-053 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors $950.00
FITS: Audi S4 (B5) & A6/Allroad (C5) with Alcon or Stoptech 355x32mm Big Brake KitThese rotors will fit the B5 S4 or C5 A6/Allroad with the 2.7L twin turbo motor. This kit will not fit the C5 A6, RS6, or Allroad with the 4.2L V8. Competition Motorsport is an authorized dealer for Girodisc products. As one of the largest stocking dealers in the country, we ship most products the same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. This Girodisc system upgrades the OEM brakes to a two-piece steel disc and aluminum hat. This two-piece "floating rotor" design will bolt directly to your Audi front and work flawlessly with the OEM calipers.Upgrading your brakes to lightweight, high-performance Girodisc rotors, you maintain the factory brake bias and ABS effectiveness. Much lighter than the OEM rotors, Girodisc rotors reduce rotational and unsprung mass giving you stronger braking and faster suspension response.Combined with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Competition Motorsport RF-1 racing brake fluid, Girodisc rotors are the ultimate solution to overheated, cracked, warped rotors that result from high-performance driving. The central hat of the rotor is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured in the USA from the same cast iron used by professional racing organizations. Its curved-vane design, developed in racing, acts like a centrifugal pump forcing cool air through the disc. The disc and hat mount together through a floating mount system using ten cadmium plated, high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc. These drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to allow for heat expansion. Anti-noise spring washers eliminate the noise typically associated with floating rotors. This two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement, reusing the hat to minimize maintenance costs.Sold/priced per pair.
