The Highest Dry Boiling Point Racing Brake Fluid You Can Buy CMS Performance RF1 fully synthetic Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to provide the highest performance under racing and track-day conditions, where braking systems operate at very high sustained temperatures. RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) There is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than brakes. And no part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At Competition Motorsport, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid on the track that didn't live up to its claimed performance. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene Chemicals, a British brake fluid supplier to professional race teams in Formula 1, WEC, and many other pro series, CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at extreme temperatures and line pressures found in racing, track days, and spirited driving. Bottom line: you can spend more money, but you can't buy higher-performing racing brake fluid! CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Specifications: Typical dry boiling point: 622° F (328° C) Typical wet boiling point: 399° F (204° C) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Individual 500 ml (16.7 oz.) bottles Click Here For The RF1 Product MSDS Sheet A Note About Brake Fluid Boiling Points DOT 4 brake fluid like RF1 is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts water over time sitting in your brake lines and reservoir. At high brake temperatures, this water can boil in your car's brake lines, causing the fluid in the lines to become compressible. That's what you feel when you experience brake fade. This is why the "wet" (aged fluid) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (brand new fluid) boiling point. Since time is the enemy of brake fluid performance, the best practice is to replace your racing brake fluid before each track event/weekend. At a minimum, flush it with new fluid at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. A couple bottles of fluid will flush most sports cars or race cars. It ends up being pretty cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way.

Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 4909
Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 4909 from $515.64
RSL 29: The PAGID RS29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport.  The racing compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Based on the RS14, A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. This combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) is unmatched. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. Pagid RS29 with a very similar friction coefficient to RS19 with improvements in initial bite offering quicker response and slightly more temperature stable at the upper levels of the temperature range. Developments in raw material selection and compounding have resulted in improvements also in pedal feel and feedback, helping with modulation particularly on lighter applications. This material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours without a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, because of the consistent levels of performance and user friendliness many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favour in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear. RSC 1: The Pagid RSC1 is a good street/track compromise for enthusiasts with Carbon-Ceramic Brakes. Used for sprint racing and track days compound with all known types of ceramic brake discs. An ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface.

Girodisc A2-032 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors (350mm) $1,300.00
The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a 350mm two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination, a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc. The two-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements -- as opposed to a big brake kit -- your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. Girodisc rotors are lighter than the OEM rotors, reducing rotational and unsprung weight for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Competition Motorsport RF1 racing brake fluid (also available from CMS), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured in the USA from cast iron, made to the same specification and with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotor's curved-vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise typically associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor-ring only replacement to minimize future replacement costs. Priced per pair

PORSCHE 991.2 CARRERA S/4S/GTS WITH OEM STEEL ROTORS The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc with the use of the provided caliper spacers. Girodisc rotors are slightly larger than the OEM rotor at 350mm versus 340mm, providing greater braking force and cooling capacity. The Girodisc front rotors are approx 21.0 lbs vs. 24.4 lbs. for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by Class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads. Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor rings when needed. Sold/priced in pairs.
