A helmet is typically an investment used across multiple seasons. Choosing a current-generation SA2025 helmet provides a newer certification baseline for drivers preparing their equipment for the coming years of competition.
The Visor Received Its Own Redesign
Stilo didn't carry the ST5 visor forward unchanged.
The ST6 moves to an injection-molded visor designed to provide improved optical clarity and durability. It also incorporates a high-performance anti-fog treatment that can be washed, making routine maintenance more practical over the life of the shield.
The hardware surrounding it has changed as well.
A new dual-lock system allows the visor to meet FIA requirements in both fully closed and vented positions, while revised hardware provides smoother operation and easier installation.
These are exactly the kinds of changes that can disappear on a specification sheet but become obvious after a season of actually using the helmet.
One important consideration for existing Stilo owners is compatibility: ST5 shields do not fit the ST6. The new platform requires ST6-specific ABP shields and corresponding hardware.
The Interior Wasn't Left Behind
Shell technology attracts attention, but the part of the helmet the driver actually feels is the interior.
Stilo redesigned the liner and cheek pads for the ST6 with an emphasis on comfort and stability. Reshaped cheek pads help maintain the helmet's position at speed while creating a more comfortable interface around the driver's face.

The ST6 FN eliminates those side ports, creating a cleaner exterior profile better suited to formula, sprint, and open-wheel applications.
