Girodisc D1-078 Alfa Romeo 4C Front Ring FAQs

Can these be used with factory Alfa Romeo rotors? No. These are designed only for Girodisc aluminum hats and cannot mount to OEM one-piece rotors or hardware.

Do these rotors improve braking over stock? Yes. The high-carbon alloy and floating design improve thermal stability, reduce fade, and enhance braking modulation during aggressive driving or track sessions.

What pad compounds are recommended? For street and light track use, Ferodo DS2500 or Hawk HPS 5.0 provide excellent control. For racing, Pagid RS29 or Endless ME20 deliver superior high-temp performance.

What torque should I use on the rotor bolts? Torque each fastener to 12 ft-lbs (16 Nm) using blue Loctite. Recheck after one full heat cycle to ensure proper float and hardware security.

Enhance your Alfa Romeo 4C’s agility and braking consistency with Girodisc D1-078 305mm front replacement rings — precision-built for lightweight performance, heat control, and lasting durability.
