Girodisc D1-067 Ford S550 Mustang Front Ring FAQs
Will these fit OEM Mustang Brembo rotors? No. These replacement rings are designed specifically for Girodisc aluminum hats and cannot mount to OEM one-piece Brembo rotors.
What brake pads pair best with these rotors? For street and spirited driving, Ferodo DS2500 pads are excellent. For heavy track use, Pagid RSL29 or Carbotech XP12 deliver superior bite and fade resistance.
Are these rotors directional? Yes. Each rotor is labeled for left and right sides. Proper installation ensures the internal vanes draw air through the rotor for maximum cooling under load.
What torque should be applied to the hardware bolts? Torque to 12 ft-lbs (16 Nm) using blue Loctite. After one complete heat cycle, recheck torque to ensure proper float and hardware integrity.
Upgrade your Mustang’s stopping performance with Girodisc D1-067 380mm front replacement rings — engineered for cooling efficiency, reduced fade, and consistent braking feel lap after lap.
